the majority of pro-circumcision advocates in this thread think circumcision is okay because of subjective reasons such as how it looks, not because of its so-called "health benefits" (there are none, stop fooling yourself) or because its "the parent's decision" (because it isn't. its the child's body, he should choose what happens to it).

Also, San Francisco tried to ban the declawing of cats a few months ago, and that failed.
If they can't even get together to ban the declawing of cats, there's no way in fuck that this will pass.

Nobody should care about such a stupid debate as "cut vs. uncut." Anyone cut as a baby didn't make that choice; anyone uncut as a baby didn't make that choice for themselves either. People just get butthurt and defensive over a decision they never made.

When it comes to practicing circumcision on newborn babies, I strongly believe we should limit the operation. The body does not reject the foreskin like say an umbilical cord and removing the foreskin has no legitimate health benefits making it justifiable, so I say leave it on and let the individual decide when they get old enough.
