Oh my word a coincidental period of time has passed between one event and another event that are the same, this is obviously a sign of something and not Jupiter pulling in more shit.
When I read that I thought you said "...and not Jupiter pulling more shit." like Jupiter was fucking with us or something :tinfoil:
pictures and shit
What the fuck dude

The way he asked the question it sounded like the setup for a Seinfeld joke.
Bananas are a delicious.
I've had diarrhea for a day or two now and I read that bananas help with it so I ate one and noticed minimal difference.
Bananas are a delicious.
What kind of a delicious are they?
It's a fat lardy waste of space
And what makes you different?
It more passed through Jupiter, rather than hit it.
Seen as it's a ball of gas
:downs:
But yeah, this most likely happens all the time.
And what makes you different?
You don't have room to talk with that avatar of yours.

They have solid cores.
Seinfeld is a shitty show

no
And what makes you different?
I'm not a gassy giant.

Are you seriously defending Jupiter?
Enlighten me as to why I should give a shit.

Enlighten me as to why you should post in a thread about a topic you don't care about.

It pulls in a load of stuff then fires it at us.
All I have to say about this:

It's upper level is a lot of gas. That much kinetic energy from an object from space crashing into Jupiter with the gravity that thing has, would spread out alot of gas, and I mean alot, from the impact. Also, Jupiter barely has an atmosphere.

... what do you mean it barely has an atmosphere? IT'S LIKE 90% GAS! That IS the atmosphere. Gas giants are essentially just REALLY, REALLY fucking dense planets that gathered up a REALLY FUCKING THICK atmosphere of gas in the past.

I didn't know 'lard' was gas.
An object that small, (Speaking in large terms), wouldn't pass through Jupiter. Aside from the fact that the objects would be slowed down and heavily disintegrated by Jupiter's atmosphere, the the objects would have no way of retaining enough speed to exit the other side of Jupiter.
Especially seeing as Jupiter has a solid core surrounded by metallic hydrogen which makes up about 75% of its mass. Correct me if I'm wrong.
^ you're correct.
Especially seeing as Jupiter has a solid core surrounded by metallic hydrogen which makes up about 75% of its mass. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Metallic hydrogen makes up 89.8% (give or take 2%) of it's mass according to wikipedia.
Edit: Read wrong, you're right.
It more passed through Jupiter, rather than hit it.
Unlikely, Jupiter is large enough that an object of that caliber would simply be sucked into the core.
I doubt anything could pass through such a large gravitational field.

FFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU
I was close though
What? The metallic hydrogen is around 78% last time I read it.
