Actually that's not true. I worked as an intern in a law firm that specialized in tracking PETA's members for the government. They keep them around so they put pretty much everyone who works for them on a government watchlist so they can arrest the individual members at later dates if they actually do anything too funky. PETA is a legal company, it's members are the real weirdos. That one case was a weird one though, they must not have had enough evidence to get it in through court, or maybe it was because they held the euthanization at PETA's headquarters.
So a person who tried to liberate animals, may do it for PETA and hence be assumed as wierdo, illegal/terrorist. A butcher or a slaughter house operator who willing kills, and skins "innocent" creatures for a cause outside the humans control are "normal". There may be crazy people in PETA, but to not look at ourselves individually and our actions, would be insanity.
There was a similar story like this before. But the dog in the other story didn't get euthanized, thank god. Either way, what a heartless fucking bitch. I bet Thor's owner really needed him for comfort and what does she do? Steals him and kills him. What is here excuse?

Plus she wasn't apart of PETA from what the article says. Now that you said it, killing an "ill" pet by euthanasia is far better morally than raising animals for slaughter. Ones a complete act of madness, the others, is an ongoing genocidal insanity.
Finally, this story made me so mad. Who the fuck does she think she is? Bitch deserves it.
These can be understood in the same way really. Should have been "dog of a neighbor who was terminally ill"
No it isn't. "terminally ill" is the adjective for "neighbor". The thread title is just magically sensational because people attach "terminally ill" to the dog. Replace neighbor with person and it will still sound correct.
neighbor did it to my cat once (wasnt terminally ill either) because she hated my families cats no justice so far glad to see someone getting justice for it elsewhere
I love my pets so much. If someone did that and I knew who it was I would key the shit out of their car/take a pickaxe to their windshield. I'm not a violent person, but don't fuck with animals. That's as low as you can get and you deserve a pickaxe through your windshield. Side-note: Don't ask why I have a pickaxe in my garage
no stupid10er meant that Peta has in the past liberated people's pets from them, then killed the animals despite them being perfectly healthy
Yes. I didn't know PETA did not, or it probably was a few people. Not he entire organization is full of the same person who does certain actions. If that story was true by all means, people still act under a certain belief, but I did watch a documentary awhile back. Showing male chicks were all killed via a convey belt machine in a chicken farm, because they weren't useful output wise compared to female hens. My guess is that practice is properly pretty common for many years in that industry. So considering you ate chicken within a time frame, you, theoretically, although unknowingly. Committed the same level of crime with Innocent, were healthy animals died for no purpose.
-actually fuck that-

I really don't understand the logic that this woman was using. Why would you kill someone's dog because they are dying? What purpose does that serve? Also, is the Vet that put down the dog getting in trouble as well? Malpractice?
Sounds like something my neighbor would do. She took my other neighbor to court because she felt 'threatened' when my neighbor asked her to stop coming onto her property and setting out food for stray cats. The crazy cat neighbor was literally going onto someone elses private property, inside a fence, and feeding stray cats. She also called the police on me and my nephews for 'shooting cats' when we were in my fenced in backyard playing army with wooden toy guns.

What are you gonna eat then? In the end feelings are just a cocktail of reactions from sensory input.
I'm not arguing against meat but I'm pretty sure it would be perfectly sustainable to live without it.
Sure it would be sustainable in the developed world. Its a shame we all dont live in the developed world.
I'm not arguing against meat but I'm pretty sure it would be perfectly sustainable to live without it.
It's perfectly sustainable to live without vegetables. No one will argue against a balanced diet. But a single source diet is ALWAYS bad.
To add onto that, you can survive off of one type of livestock and a few types of crops quite easily. In a 3rd world country surviving off a few types of crops alone is nigh impossible. In order to receive the various nutrients the body needs from plant sources alone you would need quite a varied diet of various types of plants (ex. Beans, leafy greens, tubers). In a third world environment where agriculture is already extremely difficult to maintain it would be nigh impossible to consistently grow such a varied crop in the quantities needed to survive.
