How many finales has this show had now?
Series or Season? Because if series this will be the 2nd one.
How many finales has this show had now?
None?
How many finales has this show had now?
2-3
Last season of futurama :-(
They did something like that. Twice. It's called the "what if" machine.
Holy crap I forgot about those! I'd definitely enjoy one last What-If episode.
None?
Uhhh, Fox cancelled it in 2003. (Series Finale 1) 4 Direct to DVD movies which was it's own season, originally the end of Futurama (Series Finale 2) This upcoming season is the claimed to be the final season (Series Finale 3)
could be really good, or could be really bad.........only time will tell, i'll reserve judgement until the episode.
Hopefully he doesn't sound too much like any of the characters in Family guy. He can change his voice incredibly well.
Given that he thought it was completely ok to do Peter Griffin's voice for Ted I doubt he will even try to change it.
Family Guy's pretty stale on humor but Seth himself is pretty fucking hilarious, you guys are too critical
I don't know man he was pretty damn embarrassing at the oscars.
holy crap leela
holy crap leela
Remember the time me and the Professor were in (80s show/movie). (Cutaway gag with gross-out "comedy") (Renewed 20 more seasons)
Need a source, OP.
Completely forgot. Fixed it.
Jurassic Bark and Luck of the Fryish made me tear up something fierce. I wouldn't want to see either episode ruined. :(
I don't know man he was pretty damn embarrassing at the oscars.
As if there hasn't been any embarrassing presenters of the Oscars before. There have been absolutely loads
Jurassic Bark and Luck of the Fryish made me tear up something fierce. I wouldn't want to see either episode ruined. :(
But they did it in Bender's Big Score.
With how good Futurama is, I don't see how they could possibly make a worse decision than to bring this clown in on it.
Not the first time hes been on the show, he sang the opening song for the fourth movie. Bender has shown up twice on Family Guy, both parts without voice. A Family Guy Calender showed up in the first Futurama DVD movie. Not Futurama specific, but the Comic Book Guy from Simpsons showed up on the Cleveland Show fully voiced in the correct art style. Honestly it looks like they have a healthy relationship.
the guy had one idea for one show and I hate to love him for pulling it off- not only once, but several times by taking the same exact recipe and making it vaguely different flavors he's now the highest paid writer/producer in TV, with a salary of 100 million
I dunno. I like Seth, and it's just a small cameo with one or two lines. I'm not bothered.
I don't see why everyone's getting all hot and bothered over Seth doing some lines. He's not coming in as a writer just as a voice.
I don't care if Seth Mcfarlane cameos in a cartoon but Seymoure? I'm calling it now. They're just going to make him sarcastic snarky dog who drinks alchohol. Which would ruin that sad episode IMO.
I'm less bothered about Seth than I am taking a crucial part of one the best episodes and completely ruining it.
Here's the thing; If it turns out to be hilarious, which it probably will seeing as Futurama has a pretty good rap sheet for that sort of thing, then I won't give a fuck. Besides, it's like the perfect end to that story arch. Fry will finally get to reunite himself with the one and only companion he had in his previous life. Even if he is inexplicably drinking martinis now.
Family Guy's pretty stale on humor but Seth himself is pretty fucking hilarious, you guys are too critical
He sings Sinatra pretty well too.
He sings Sinatra pretty well too.
No, he doesn't.
Judging from what I've seen in the season premiere, kind of makes sense to bring Seymour back in general. If they brought back [sp]Gunther, the monkey with the intelligence hat[/sp] for a brief part(Spoilered for those who may have missed tonights episodes), then I guess this season will probably show what became of every character that had some significance. Seymour will probably end up a flashback or they somehow recover enough of him to put in a robot.
No, he doesn't.
Yes he does.

It's so simple and cheezy but it cracks me up every time.

good news everyone, that's what I'd say if we weren't canceled but we are, those new asinine morons at comedy central canceled us! [editline]20th June 2013[/editline] sounds more like fry imagined seymore talking and acting like Brian griffon than anything else, possible though as the show had been in its first year when fry was frozen in 1999 hopefully Seth remembered that and did Brian like fry would have known, of course he could just explain it as fry having later seen episodes of family guy in the future but still keeping things period is key [editline]20th June 2013[/editline] hope futurama gets another movie to end it all, like with fry going back in time with leela for good or something [editline]20th June 2013[/editline] [sp]also this season seems to be really pushing the fry-leela couple thing [/sp]
Remember, gentlemen: They're looking to be picked up by another network to keep Futurama going.
Remember, gentlemen: They're looking to be picked up by another network to keep Futurama going.
I hope it's Adult Swim. They saved Home Movies, and gave it a proper ending.
