Chill your beenz
I fully support this idea, if anything, I would say that it's a little reserved.
I have mixed feelings about this...I can understand the need to have armed patrols in especially dangerous areas, but I don't want it to start catching on elsewhere.
A bunch of antisocial teenagers doesn't warrant coppers wandering around with guns - armed gangs yes, chavs no.
So what you are saying, you rather have unarmed police patrolling whilst there are a estimated 3 million illegal guns floating around Britain after last month some random cunt got blown away by a chav AK-47 after answering his door?
Hurm. Seeing as I trust England's police about as far as I can throw one of them (which, as you might expect, ain't far), I can't say I'm too happy about this; they've shown that they can't handle guns by the way in which it's been testified that they shot a man 17 times on the tube without him getting up, shouting, or acting threatening in any way.

still my daddy ~but u aint the only man wit a gun~
Good.
Now British cops won't get their asses kicked by criminals.
Good. Armed police already patrol pretty much every major city in the UK, albeit they're in cars. I'd feel much safer if I knew the police in the towns next to mine were armed. I'm pretty sure the little thugs around there would think twice.
