You do realize that they have capable admins and don't allow reference pages that aren't up to snuff, right?

And even ignoring that it's Wikipedia, I have no reason to believe otherwise that the Tea Party is wholly misinformed, ignorant, and pretty racist.
Seeing as any Tea Party source is going to paint them as patriots, and all other sources paint them as what I've just said, I'll post some pictures:

Ignorant, misinformed

Not even sure what that is.

Wow look at all that blatant racism
And what was ignorant/misinformed about the then single payer option that was on the table?

The Progressive Caucus wanted single-payer, but it was only being discussed, not a house proposal.
Additionally, I looked some more and did find racist signs:

Hell, just one trip to the comments on Fox News should make it pretty apparent.
Like I've said before. There are retards and assholes in every group of people. Just like in the other thread, those assholes posing as righteous Christians harassing the hell out of that Muslim man trying to pray.
And don't act like the left didn't treat Bush the same way.

I'd say the difference here is that the Tea Party is a single group/movement, and "The Left" is not.

"the left" is as connected as the tea party is, since there are multiple different "left" organizations and political parties just like there are multiple different tea party organizations and political parties, with little centralized organization. a tea bagger is mostly a political ideology, like socialist is, or liberal is.

As decentralized as the Tea Party might be, it's less diverse than what I guess he means by "the left" (I'm having to guess because there is no Left group in America that identifies as this). "The Left" he's describing could be anything from Black Panther-esque people to "bleeding heart" Liberals or Green Party members, or even just a Progressive Democrat. I'm saying that the concept of the group "the left" is a lot less concrete than the Tea Party movement, and if there was such a group, it would be incredibly more diverse. Even if I were to go off what you've just said, about tea bagger being an ideology, then your argument still fails because "the left" would have an incredibly wide range of ideologies.
