So in other words you've only played CS, which doesn't really have great bhop unless you're using higher than default air accelerate...
It's stupid to bunnyhop in CS, seeing as most people fire at the base of a target's torso. The weapons have recoil that jump your aim up so if you jump you are more likely to be hit which will stop your jumping.

I used to play it all the time and I still do in LANs and you can reach lightspeed
hell there are mods (like Rocket Arena) that have maps which the main way to move around is to fly around the place

The only thing bunnyhop is useful for is in surfing, and even with that said it's only on some maps.
So much bawwing in this thread, and any thread that's about FF. TF2 and FF are completely different games for different people. All I'm seeing in this thread is TF2 vs. TFC vs. FF "my opinion is better than yours".
FF is still a blast to me, and I wish the community was bigger for it.

A game should be accessible to everyone. If it has a steep learning curve, the community should gladly welcome in newcomers and teach them how to play with everyone else, instead of claiming that they "suck" because they can't pull off an exploit that everyone else knows on a game they are playing for the first time.
