Russia: Putin accuses the United States of being a parasitic nation on the global economy
He's kinda right though.
But it's also sort of our fault. We need to slow down on doing business with a country that clearly cannot manage money properly. This isn't the first or last time the USA has/is bringing down the economy.
Bust is inevitable after boom but what America's done is tried to keep the economy alive artificially and this will lead to massive bust.
In a way he's right. However, I wouldn't say 'The United States' as a whole. If they don't come to an agreement the stock markets will probably crash again, leading to a worldwide economic crisis. Just because the Republicans can't seem to agree on anything that even has Democrat written on it and will do anything to make the latter party look bad.
Sad thing is, they don't seem to realise that the only name they're smearing is their own. They're like the school bullies getting owned by the nerdy kid.
Putin can't really say much about the economy though, not while Russia has its own problems. AFAIK they don't owe 14t+ to other countries though.
Yeah because we don't have a right to have an economy.
You shouldn't have the right to comment for such an ignorant remark.
Fix your own economy, then talk shit
You mean United States owes a huge amount of money to Russia?
Russia, some other countries in Europe and China. Russia and China have the biggest investments in the US.

Putin may be right, but hes a hypocritical nationalist who squashes dissent, oh and Maxst,
I laughed at Canada
Canada is awesome.
Huh, well put Putin.
Not the first time another country hates on the US because they're broke
Edit
Not the first time another country hates on the US because they're broke
Lmao, the US people spend a WHOLE lot more resources, food and money on products that comes from oil and the industries that are built on loaned money, and overpowered army that is burning millions on end. Americans are much hungrier consumers than most others too.
You are dumb, also some man like Putin he went through the siege of Stalingrad, which lasted like 4 years. The first winter during the siege there was no electricity, heating or running water in the city. Over 600,000 people died. And where's America at again?

We consume more because on average we have more spending money due to lower taxes and necessities like food and such being cheaper.
We get benefits like that and then when countries like Russia are broke they have nothing better to do than be butthurt and complain about the US.
Yeah right
Yeah right
Ok then
Both of these posts are so remarkably idiotic and uninformed I dont even think it's worth decrying.
Mine was a joke. Other guy's just not too bright.
he's one to talk
Russia's debt is steadily decreasing, unlike the US's.
I like how one of you is basically saying the US has plenty of money to spend when you're 15Tn in debt.
I like how one of you is basically saying the US has plenty of money to spend when you're 15Tn in debt.
Just because the government's in debt doesn't mean the citizens themselves are.
Yeah because we don't have a right to have an economy.
He didn't say the US doesn't deserve to have a economy, read the whole thing next time.
Mine was a joke. Other guy's just not too bright.
yeah nice going, I'm not even American so I'm not exactly knowledgeable about the American economics so deeply but I sure as fuck have gotten a good impression of y'all as a whole. Some probably could phrase out the problems in America better than I but the idea would probably be similar.
Just because the government's in debt doesn't mean the citizens themselves are.
Well, since the citizens pay tax to the government you could say that the citizens have to pay a part of this debt.

Right now the government's financial problems aren't really affecting the lives of your average every day citizens very much. That's not to say that it won't later if they continue down this path.
I dont think you quite understand how it works so let me put it into layman's terms
When the government is down the shitter, so are the people. It might not be instantaneous, but it will catch up with them.
Like I said, I'm not saying there won't be consequences to pay later on.
The government's financial problems will affect the lives of avarage citizens in a few hours, when the US has either defaulted or passed the bill that makes huge cuts to welfare systems.

Well people can't say they didn't see it coming.
Russia's economy is not in great condition, but they maintain a significantly lower debt than the US. There would be a devastating affect to the world economy if the US economy collapsed, but the effect would be a whole lot less devastating if Russia economy collapsed.
Not the first time another country hates on the US because they're broke
Russia isn't broke, and has one of the lowest debt to GDP ratios of all developed countries.

Obviously you don't live in detroit or cleveland

or know any teachers, or public servants
Not to mention the debt itself it tiny compared to the US.
Russian debt is estimated at - 480,200,000,000 Dollars.
American debt is estimated at - 14,300,000,000,000 Dollars.
The difference is even more striking if you subtract the debt from Forex reserves:

Hopefully somebody remembered to keep a save game back before the second Iraq War in case the economy collapses.
[editline]herp[/editline]
In all seriousness our politics got old a long time ago and they need to become less of a pissing match and more of, yano, actually governing with some common sense.
