After the update (08 June 2018) I can no longer run multiple instances of RustDedicated.exe.

Unsure on the cause, it's possible you may have a zombie process. You can try a system restart or try installing a fresh server.

Sorry I don't think you are understanding. Before this update I could run multiple instances from one RustDedicated.exe but after this update I can longer do so.
Because of this bug I can not run multiple servers from one folder.
Hi, I am getting the same error with my servers since the last update.
It looks like it searched system wide if there is another RustDedicated.exe running no matter if its from the same folder or not (which is quite odd). They really have to fix that otherwise you won't be able anymore to run multiple instances from one huge bare metal system
I think this is because of the unity update. I'm not sure as I don't work with unity.
this is just an error in their code, they probably wanted to check if out of the current home directory already a process named RustDedicated.exe is running, but made an error and did it OS wide. so thats why you can't run any additional instance right now on a windows system.
hope they fix it soon otherwise you can't use this game anymore to host more than one server.
Hi guys just had a look into this one and I've found cause and the fix.
Seems the latest releases have enabled the unity player single instance mode by default.
The fix is to remove:
single-instance=
From the configuration file:
RustDedicated_Data/boot.config
Once you have done this you can once again start multiple instances on the same machine.
Hope this helps.
