Why is Rust crashing everytime I am about to load into a server?

I have played only 45 hours but ever since yesterday I haven't been able to join a server without crashing.
I've tried restarting my pc, I downloaded new drivers for my gpu, reinstalled rust , I typed "/scannow" in cmd, tried verifying integrity of game files, but nothing seems to work.
I don't think your gpu is the problem. How much RAM do you have and do you have an SSD or an HDD?
Same thing is happening to me. I can't join a server or even launch the game
Me too i cant join any server the game just shuts down after some time loading
Whilst you are loading into a server if you click around or anything rust will begin to look like it is about to "crash" and a pop up will appear of "Rust is not responding"
This is completely normal. Do not click anything and if this pop up occurs just let it do its thing and keep loading
But I don't click anywhere the game just shuts down without warning near the end of loading
I like the game I bought it from steam it was on sale I tried reinstalling but nothing
Do you know what is causing this issue
What are your computer specs? Here are the minimum
Are you opted into Steam Beta? If so you need to get out of that. Check your steam settings
Im not opted for steam beta it's off

Yooo this is exactly what happens to me, the same thing is happening in 7 days to die, I thought something was wrong with my PC and had a mini heart attack. I'm thinking it has something to do with lack of ram...I only have 2x4 8gb 3000mhz. I have an i5 8600k paired with a gtx 1070 so I know I can run it, the only place lacking is the ram or HDD I don't have room on the SSD at the moment.
