Here is a very vocal and uneducated reason why it should not be allowed.

RUST is not "project runway",

it matters not one jot what the physical attributes of your character are, in-fact apart from the hands, you cannot even see your character.

Physiologically it seems you have an issue with other players identifying you as being "female" & "dark skinned".. if so... This is RUST and the least of your worries.

the character system is quite frankly the most clever idea I've seen in rust

No other game has done it as far as I can tell
