Are you actually aware that your official servers get ddossed daily? this has happened for weeks... Like actually weeks. And facepunch never post anything on twitter about it, no one seems to even talk about it... " Just pretend it's not happening and it'll go away " I'm sorry but with a game as big as yours, considering you're growing a lot more now, servers stay populated longer because of amazing updates. I mean for fuck sake your twitter bio is " surviving, whatever the cost " No one can even survive the ddoss attacks because they're completely random and they last for hours at a time, since no one is fixing the problem or even communicating, I'm wondering if you're genuinely aware your servers are getting fucked. The second anything happens on PUBG, they tweet out within 10 minutes, there's no communication! I love your game but there's no point in playing when you're letting other people run your own servers for you...
Yes, very true they need to do something to fix this problem. I love this game and all but its hard to even play with all the ddos'ing lately. I got fucked because of the ddos one time and I was outside when server crashed, I lost everything.
You'll have to remember that for the developers to have the most details about an exploit, they need to be the ones running the servers - hence, the official servers. This is frankly why there may be additional cheaters or bug abusers, as they're as easily available to them as anyone else who's purchased the game. A way of truely avoiding these DDoS' would be to run your own community server, distancing you from any general hostility.
