Has realtime day / night transitions been in place? Night has been on constantly for the past half hour, either there's some buggered up code or it's real night/ day. The only issue I have with this is so far that every item used to see at night is pretty frankly terrible, apart from the flashlights that you attach to your weapons ( which are rare to find anyway ). The flare is way too red, has an incredibly tiny viewing radius and theres not much you can do if a zombie runs to you with it out

[editline]16th February 2013[/editline] Basically after a day or two of playing you should pretty much have obtained every item except for weapon/armor parts over 5 at least once, or a blueprint or a dozen for the items you haven't gotten.
I play in a group with a bunch of friends, freaks people out when they see us but we're friendly. Also, how many people are online at peak times and when are they? Never seen more than about 10 on at once.

Played a bit before completely losing my temper and flying off the handle from being picked off. Said some things I shouldn't have, regretfully. Really nice for an alpha/early beta. Shows promise. I'd like to see something different from just "zombies in the woods" since it's such an overdone concept at this point. Would love to see an urban Metro-style map. Could be neat to see some customization as far as appearance, but that's something for far off. TL;DR: This has a crap-ton of potential.

( it ushually shouldn't be visible except for a frame or two ). You may want to closing all windows of your browser and trying again or using something like cache killer (and enabling it) before going to playrust.com Also we just changed the file format for the load manifest file, So this issue might be related to unity not grabbing the most recent manifest and being stuck on the old version. Which again the fix would be the same as i mentioned above

I would think that would imply you could talk about it.

You can acquire the wood by using the hatchet on trees. If you would like a blueprint, you can ask me ingame if we are ever on at the same time.
80 wood is a bit high, but I can understand for counter-spam reasons. [editline]10th March 2013[/editline] Will we have to ability to craft other types of place-able objects?? This in the eventual hope of making forts and platforms in trees to stash stuff.
I know it's not a priority right now but just to throw it out there: the environment would look a lot better if the forest areas were denser with grass and various tree types existed of different sizes.
I hope when the game comes out there's a survival server, like DayZ works, you lose everything when you die, and a PVE style server like we have now, where you dont lose items when you die, but perhaps add stronger zombies, or maybe different kinds?
