You seriously think someone would join a DayZ server, talk to some people who you played with and apparently can "vouch" for you and then give you an invite? Are you actually THAT naive?[
I agree vouching does nothing for reputation on another site. People will tend to distrust this because it could be your friends. vouching for you.
Lets see how long it takes

Server is back down to 112 survivors. This is the best decision garry has ever made for rust.
This is because it's 6 in the morning in central Europe atm. Really amazing how much different the community is right now compared to a couple hours ago.
Except its a fucking Alpha and it was never meant to leak outside of Facepunch. Hell, most of the "DayZ and Minecraft Survival" part of the game is going to be scrapped and completely redone soon anyway.
Only the DayZ parts (zombies) are getting scrapped. garry and helk want to expand on the base-building aspects so it's the players that build the world.

Well if garry and helk (Don't forget pat) are going to scrap the dayZ elements and make it more of a post-apocalyptic rebuilding civilization type of thing , I would really like if they added a group system so you can team up with your friends.

Another thing is some more building materials so people can build entire towns.

I'd love makeshift concrete walls (even brick walls), and then using metal scraps to craft metal reinforcements that can combine with concrete to make them even stronger.
Though maybe not metal walls. Chainlink fences would be a nice touch however.
