The notice does not show when I join the server. I have notice_enabled=true
The notice is timed, not on join...
same here
its not a message of the day, its a timed notice. it will appear every x amount of seconds (which is configured by milliseconds in the config file)
where do I download that actual r++ got everything else but cant find the rust ++ files
where do I download that actual r++ got everything else but cant find the rust ++ files
its inside the 'mods' folder in the archive.
im confused as to what you mean
im confused as to what you mean
then you probably shouldn't be messing around with modding
Does anyone know how I can make crafting.timescale permanent? It seems to go back to default when I leave the server. Maybe that can be added to the mod, instead of only insta-craft option.
lols na i found it for some reason when i look at website in IE it scrolls all retarted and i cant see the download or donate buttons but when i view it on chrome i saw it all appericate the work
Does anyone know how I can make crafting.timescale permanent? It seems to go back to default when I leave the server.
add a line in the server .cfg file crafting.timescale "0.5" will set the server to half-craft (what i find most use full)
Thanks man it worked perfectly!
Is the source updated to 1.3.1? Or is that still on 1.2?
Is the source updated to 1.3.1? Or is that still on 1.2?
Source isn't updated, he had to go to work...
Trying to share doors or PM a friend "XYZ the Great", and it doesn't work. share says "Cannot find XYZ the Great Great", and PM says "cannot find XYZ. Quotes or no quotes. Known issue?
Trying to share doors or PM a friend "XYZ the Great", and it doesn't work. share says "Cannot find XYZ the Great Great", and PM says "cannot find XYZ. Quotes or no quotes. Known issue?
Going to second this on the PM side of things. People can't PM me in-game even when they put it in quotes. (ex. /pm "Jay Fray" "Hey!" returns the error "cannot find user Jay".)
Source isn't updated, he had to go to work...
Ah, okay. Did 1.3(.1) fix the airdrop glitch? I was still having them on 1.2 and I didn't see it in the changelog. Here's my config: http://pastie.org/private/ezaum3axvxlty6linvaqfg
try putting "Jay_Fray" or "Jay-Fray"
Just tested the door sharing function and it does not work. It gives the message that doors are shared with friend but my friend can't open them, neither existing or new doors.
It would be great to have a timervalue for the notice, so it would be possible to let it stay on screen a little longer or shorter.
try putting "Jay_Fray" or "Jay-Fray"
I'm pretty sure an underscore was tested and didn't work. Will try both again to be sure, thanks!
Found a bug, if updating to 1.3.1 no one can open their own door now, and they said they are not sharing it .....? OKAY, I sent over the Assembly-CSharp.dll again and all can open the doors!
DLL issue has been fixed ?
Just had some rest, now i can reflect on yesterday and discuss the future of the mod. DoorSharing will stop working most times there is a server-side steam update. You will need to wait for me to update the .dll when this happens, the rest of the mod should work fine though. I had to modify Assembly-CSharp.dll's CIL code to invoke an area in my script and constantly change the referenced libraries (Rust++.dll) version number, this is the only way i could see DoorSharing happening for now. There is multiple ways to fix this, easiest would be for garry to make a small change to his code :) and a more difficult solution is to modify the CIL code during runtime which is very possible, just time consuming. LeatherLoader (the loader this Mod runs on) is upgrading to Neolith very soon, a new loader with many more features, shiny website, more help etc. the current loader has its limitations with sharing server listeners, my original plan was to release DoorSharing as a separate mod, however this wasn't possible due to the current state of LeatherLoader, as Rust++ and DoorSharing would both need to access the chat system when only one can right now. I don't plan on modifying any more server-side dll code for now until i find a better solution. There is still plenty of work i can do without touching that stuff. I have plans for Group/Party/Clan systems with chat, permissions and door sharing. a good easy to use kick/ban system is also something i plan to do and improvements to DoorSharing (like saving) and sharing/unsharing offline players. Right now the server code is unobfuscated, if it ever gets obfuscated i will not be continuing this mod and the mod will no longer work. so lets just hope that doesn't happen ;) But for the next week or so i'm going to do small things such as polish up the current mod and add a few more configurable settings in. I have no plans for creating 'server donator kits', im sure as shit that garry/helk wouldn't be thrilled with players spending real life money to get ahead in the game.
Just tested the door sharing function and it does not work. Door sharing is confirmed working on hfbservers.
Unfortunately our serverhoster doesnt support .dll Files so Rust++ 1.2 is the end of Rust++ for us and we have to change to Oxide..
It would be great to have a timervalue for the notice, so it would be possible to let it stay on screen a little longer or shorter.
that's clientside :( [editline]6th January 2014[/editline]
Unfortunately our serverhoster doesnt support .dll Files so Rust++ 1.2 is the end of Rust++ for us and we have to change to Oxide..
There is some server hosts working on a mod panel and implementing newer versions of Rust++ also, you can still get the later updates, you just won't be able to use /share and /unshare, install the mod like normal and don't touch the dll.
Unfortunately our serverhoster doesnt support .dll Files so Rust++ 1.2 is the end of Rust++ for us and we have to change to Oxide..
Imo. If ur GSP doesn't allow full access to the files. They are shitty :suicide:
that's clientside :(
Ohh, ok, no big deal, I love the mod as it is.
Hi, my server dont open when i try to install this mod. Can someone help me please ? I have a Rust Server. 100 slots. I buy at HFBServers.com
Unfortunately our serverhoster doesnt support .dll Files so Rust++ 1.2 is the end of Rust++ for us and we have to change to Oxide..
You don't have to used that dll, just remember to set shareddoors to false in config, and there is no problem in using later versions, I run 1.3.1 without the csharp.dll.
