If HFB doesn't have their stuff figured out by noon my time, I'm opening a FPS server. I'll use Rust++ or Oxide, it doesn't matter to me. But I like to have a choice.
Update - we now no longer have the ftp access we did after the Rust update
Edit: We do show a few mods available in the Mod Manager, Leather/DropParty/Rust++ v1.3.3/Oxide 1.5
All current mod installations break the server. Do not install them. (Jan 9 2014 5:00PM CST)

Installing Leather breaks the server entirely - I suggest you do not do that - We're testing others and I'll update this post.
Are you talking about HFB or FPS?
Are you talking about HFB or FPS?
I believe he is talking about FPS as I have the same options he mentioned.
Are you talking about HFB or FPS?
He's talking about FPS, because HFB still hasn't fixed anything.
Hi All,
with the new update and changes to server directories we'll have to accommodate for that. we will continue to work with GSP's to get this running great.
EDIT: 1.3.4 is out with an updated .dll file. things will be this way until GSP's automate our dll patcher and automate the mainData cooking.

What's the ETA on fixing the issue with Leather that makes GSP's block Rust++ and other mods?
We have to play on Vanilla Rust and it kinda ruins the server at this state.
No Full Access on HFB after this Oxide Shit...
Oxide is installed on my HFB Server, but i cant do any shit now...i want delete it now but cant. Cuz i cant see any folder anymore. I just want install Rust++ cuz this is the best Mod what u can have to change every Drop. Its easy to handle. But HFB did shit now...cant understand why...
i open ticket and got no answer...
I bought an HFB server 2 days ago. Needless to say, I am pretty disappointed. On the other hand, I know that not everything is their fault but it is hard to not be disappointed at all.

HFB sucks at ticket answers, takes sooooo long

Now we wait for the hosting companies to update their files. As I cannot replace the .DLL file myself.
Sigh....
What's the ETA on Neolith??

you wont need to replace any dll once they implement our auto patcher

btw come upcoming features we are working on:
whitelisting
permissions system
configurable resource gains
removing attachments from firearms
kick/ban system
more teleport commands
and more. expect a bright future for Rust++
We will always be free and open source. thank you for the donations we have received, this money will be shared with developers that contribute to the project.

FPS
Regarding the admin related stuff you plan to add to Rust++, will it be possible to set godmode for the individual admin who used the command instead of every logged in admin?
He's talking about FPS, because HFB still hasn't fixed anything.
This is correct. I felt I should update the community because I told them we had full FTP access and others were saying they would switch to FPS.

There is a post on the FPS site from Sean saying they are updating it now. Hopefully will be ready soon.

Just wanted to clarify that Oxide isn't charging GSPs for access
Very keen on the development of Rust++ also :)
Regards,
Streamline Servers
So there is an issue with Rust++?
cause i just did the steam update and it is not working anymore.
i haven't installed oxide

I believe xEnt is working with the GSPs to get everything back online.
If its going to require this unbelievably ridiculous setup everytime there is a patch, it's practically too much effort to give to use Rust++

Not at all, we made an auto-patcher to make everything simple, we are in the process of integrating it with the GSP.
Awesome work guys ! we can not wait to have rust++ back our servers .
FPS now has Rust++ v1.3.4 / Leather
make sure if you're installing you not only backup your .sav file but also your player data under "userdata" otherwise your players will lose their characters.
Edit: More problems installing Leather - will update where I'm at shortly.
More Edit: Installing Leather leaves this in the console
"(Filename: Line: 1615)
The file 'C:/TCAFiles/Users/PsYkO333/1130/rust_server_Data/mainData' is corrupted! Remove it and launch unity again!
[Position out of bounds! 38156 > 38152]"
Also Rust++ v1.3.4 no longer is an option to install...
More More Edit:

They say they are going to be working on fixing it - the post was 15 mins ago (7:45PM CST)
is Rust++ going to make it on HFBservers?
is Rust++ going to make it on HFBservers?
sure is
So to update the .dll that you've updated for this patch, we only need to copy the .dll from managed and place it in the server?
Or do i need to update everything?
Hi, I have HFB Servers and i can't install Rust ++ i dont see my data files because I installed the Fix :
(((Rust++ Removal Fix This Must Be Installed For You Server To Work Correctly If You Installed Rust++ At Any Point, This is also required for Oxide to work correctly.)))
Rust++ v1.3.4 / Leather both now work on FPSplayers.com
You ~do not~ have access to the ftp any longer so you cannot
1. make your own mods
2. modify a mod
You can install Rust++ and DropParty and the other mod...
Planning on installing R++ once HFB gives us the option.
Question/Suggestion:
Would it be possible to add some functionality for admins to remove foundations/pillars/ceilings? Would be nice to get rid of abandoned buildings and misplaced objects.
If this has been suggested before or not possible, I apologize for repeating.
