What exactly does the friends list do? Also you're adding Admin levels? For instance I could give someone only the ability to kick, etc.?
The friends list allows you to add your enemies, so you know when they're online or not, by typing /friends, for when the steam overlay isn't precise.
They sent me this earlier "Hello, This error should now be resolved. Are you still experiencing the issue? Also we are in the process of adding Vaccum, and DropParty. Leather is just used to load the mods, so it will not be added as a standalone mod. Joe HFBServers Systems Engineer"
EquiFox, I'm glad you and xEnt are always on top of this. This mod is the only reason I'm still running a server...
Thank you sir !
No, I can understand how it would be helpful. I just don't want to spend all my time destroying misplaced pillars.
Oh that's your choice then :) Oh also for people with direct access that want to update. Just Steam Update to get a new set of DLL. (Steam Updater's option 'Verify' must be on) Well you need to have unpatched DLL. Download your Managed and Mods folders. Unzip the 1.4.1 version into those folders. Run the Patcher into the Managed folder. Upload back those folders to your FTP.
Just to make sure before we put Rust++ on our server, you are going to add administration levels?
Yes next version (1.5)
Yes next version (1.5)
Hey Fox, no plans for DropTable ? :/
I guess I will talk with CanVox for it. It's his mod after all. But it's noted don't worry.
Can anyone confirm whether or not HFB has updated the mod yet?
I dont think it has yet :( still waiting
Can anyone confirm whether or not HFB has updated the mod yet?
01/11/2014 19:39 or 10:39 pm EST Hello Tony, We are currently rolling out the latest Rust++, and hope to have it available soon. Joe HFBServers Systems Engineer
HFBServers takes days to do anything. Whether it be, but not limited too: -Setting Up Your Server -Replying To A Support Ticket -Updating Your Server -Updating Mods :suicide:
I don't understand why HFB can't just let us do it ourselves. Just add a reset button for the main files if we screw it up. The End... Seriously, wasting time trying to implement it themselves is ridiculous, because it means they have to rework their Mod Manager every time a new update comes out for Rust++

They also replay to my tickets within 2 hours. Once they replied in 5 minutes. Updating your server? please clarify that one. Lastly yea your right about that but its the same for the other gsp's that don't give full ftp access.
FPS got it running ! Don't forget that if you are having troubles, you can PM me your Skype/Steam and I will directly help you out.
FPS got it running ! Don't forget that if you are having troubles, you can PM me your Skype/Steam and I will directly help you out.
Confirmed my FPS is running it via the automated update! All I had to do was Uninstall and Reinstall Rust++ and it worked perfectly. Always back up your save data.
I should do the same on HFB ? im waiting it to pop up on update tab, but nothing.
Equifax / xent - I am currently running 1.3.3 - Is the DLL file in that release the same as the 1.4 branch? File size appears to be the same. Ryan
Nope it's a complete new one, don't look at the file size it can be the same but it won't work. To update you really need to Update your server via steam to get new DLL, unzip 1.4.1 into your server file and run the patcher.
Damn. OK thanks for the heads up Equi. I run with rustgameservers and they don't allow me the ability to see/modify the DLL files. I have to up it in a support ticket so it's a bit of a hassle when I have 100+ players connected.
HFBServers have the new version yet? Really annoying that they aren't announcing anything and don't have a version number/timestamp for last modified in the mod control panel.
I've been talking to their staff in the past hour and it's up and running on their test server so I guest it will be very soon. Also with the new Rust++ you will just have to use /about to get the version you are running to avoid confusion.

I'm waiting for both updates, both Rust + + as the Droptable [editline]12th January 2014[/editline]
its on now , ive just checked :) tyvm EquiFox for keeping us updated , It would be nice if HFB done the same .
You turn off you server, uninstall rust++, update server, install rust++ and turn it on ?
How do I get the MOTD to show up? And another thing Can I make the notices come up faster? Thank you so much your mod has mad my server amazing.
MOTD is in the config you can change it there. also server notices you can change the delay there too. notice_enabled=true notice_interval=1200000 change interval to 600000 if you want it to 10 minutes, or lower if you want it faster. anyone who is running the new patch (write /about) to see if you are on 1.4.1, is it working well?
Make sure you are running the latest version, then copy and paste the config file in the first post into your Rust++.cfg to make sure it's brand new and edit the MOTD.
