This guy has an ego complex or something. I'm nice enough to advertise I'm using Rust++ on my server but now it's forced into the MotD which I need for more important things. Think I'll drop this and use something else...
lol, please don't ruin it for the rest of us
lol, please don't ruin it for the rest of us
How would I ruin it for the rest of you? I'm just stating an opinion I have and would much rather not be forced into advertising for someone. If they ask, I'll probably try to incorporate it into the server name. If they want a donation, sure, I can probably help with that. But I don't want to be forced to have that advertised in the MotD when the chat goes too fast already and I'm trying to get server rules and fresh spawn info in there. So I'll just use something else.
Great mod guys.
Would be cool if you set /home then later you can /tphome and it will tp you to the co-ords where you set the /home.
Wouldn't this make PvP obsolete? Also seems like it could be exploited so easily.

Admin only tool though dude.
I guess if you were going to use it for evil, you kill player1 then tp to player2 who is elsewhere on the map.. (and this is already implemented)
The reason I requested this is, I'm a 'helpful' admin so someone needs help with whatever that a regular player can't do, I tp to them, do the deed, then have to run home cause noone is there to tp to. :/
With the new feature coming out where you can knock down pillars etc, I'm sure I will have ppl screaming for help constantly cause they put something in the wrong spot.

This is very true, Provided the admins are the only people who can do it. What will be your policy on replacing said item/s? Too bad you misplaced your loss? Or will you replace the item for them?
I think it could become even more a chore replacing said item. And if you misplace then you've lost it, Even if you did it before the item could be removed which is the stance I will be taking.
Majority of the time it rarely happens now days but it still does.

Sorry I didn't realize you meant admin only. There's an oxide mod that allows players to teleport home as well, so I thought you were asking for that as a feature.
I'm waiting as hell for 1.5!!!
could someone explain how the admin loadout works? be nice to have a command to give the invisible set and what command it is to spawn it , i guess its similar to /starter

Is exactly what mine is set up for
[AdminLoadout]
items=4
item1_name=Invisible Helmet
item1_amount=1
item2_name=Invisible Vest
item2_amount=1
item3_name=Invisible Pants
item3_amount=1
item4_name=Invisible Boots
item4_amount=1
Use /loadout to get the gear
God I hope HFB SERVERS are fast adding the new ver. to there mod installer
@the Rust++Team
Is it possible to add in the future a way so that when an Admin logs in, turns damage off so that he can investigate possible cheaters that his name does not display and perhaps even not make any footstep sounds?

I'm not understanding your complaint given that we have 3 separate options for displaying information: MotD, /help and notices. You sound extremely selfish saying that if they asked you would "try to incorporate" the mod's name into your server name. They maintain this mod and distribute it for free. Having to endure a simple "This server is using Rust++ v1.5" message is the very least you could do.

This is already doable via console.
dmg.godmode true/false Gives all logged in admins godmode
It would be nice to have /godmode on/off though.

I think he's asking for a feature where an admin logs in and turns on godmode, then Rust++ makes it so they make no footstep sounds and their name can't be seen for when they go invisible.

Exactly!!!
Right now in Rust, the admin tools are so limited, even putting on invisible gears and teleporting to potential hackers, they hear your footstep and can see your name if they hover over you. Many times I'm trying to follow hackers and they know I'm there. Saying "Hi Admin" obviously will stop hacking since they know you are there.
Waiting for 1.5 ... :)
Get a logitech :P
Actually get a thermaltake Meka - possibly the strongest keyboard on the market, and it runs standard 104 with a ps/2 port so it's basically the best you can get
It's 6:53 AM here in Australia, give the boys a chance to get out of bed and 1.5 shouldn't be far away.
just an update, friends surprised equifox on his birthday so he couldn't release it last night, should be today.

I have been logging in every hour since you said "release should be around 8 hours from now"
please in the future do not give any ESTIMATED RELEASE TIME .....
I am disappointed ! in the 1.5 release drama, but am happy with the 1.4.2 release...
to be brutally honest all I want is for the darn MOTD working,
so nubs don't ask me constantly for the /starter command !
Please release a fix for MOTD right this very minute ! :D
Thanks for the update, any ideas when you guys are going to have the official website up?
Great working with Rust ++ looking forward to see it develop.
You guys got anything else in mind for the TODO list?
Kind regards Dan

FYI, the notice still works and that is where it displays all the commands by default unless you changed it
HFB is where my server is.

would you really want this? wouldnt raiders then be able to just port into someones house? or would there be some type of permission? like they make a request to port and the "to" person has to approve the port?
yeah like in oxide you type /tp "player" and that player gets a msg and has to type /tpa (or something like that dont remember the commands) it also limits how many you can do.
Is anyone else missing theNotice? Mine is default:
notice_enabled=true
notice_interval=1200000
notice_messages_amount=3
notice1=RUST++ Mod Server!
notice2=Commands: /help, /location, /history, /players, /starter, /ping, /share, /unshare
notice3=/friends, /addfriend, /unfriend, /pm "name" "message"
But it's not showing, any ideas?

Happens to me sometimes, just restart the server.
