You can't install Oxide because you have Rust++ installed (they doesn't work together).
Rust++ needs an update and there will be one out later today if I'm not mistaken.
Hope this clears things up for you.
for oxide to work uninstall rust++ and leather do an steam update then install oxide but u can be sure youll back to rust++
and if your like me with HFB they didnt recook the leather thats why rust not working

i look forward to 1.5 too... just did the update to 1.4.2 and hfb says my server is running but it wont show in server list and I cannot connect to it.
I know everyone has been on your guys about the update, but I just want to say thanks for all of the behind the scenes work you guys are doing. We really appreciate it.
At this point, Rust++ is a key reason we've been able to have the incredible server that we do. Now that I know more about Magma I'm pretty excited about that too.

Its been a day. Most of you guys are really ungrateful, all I see is give me now. Alpha Game and the guy who makes it does it for free. So im pretty greatful they can get things done in a day or 2 and we dont have to wait a week like with alot of other Alpha games!

Plus, if it's a serious issue, it could take a full 24 hour "development day" as I call it to work out the kinks. Some devs don't sleep, and they never get thanks enough. smh.

Download world save and player data first, just in case.
Never said was easy. Never said "Gimme Gimme!" . But saying it will be out today or tomorrow when you really have no idea is just annoying. Love the mod. Not rushing anyone.
If you won the lottery and they said your check will be there tomorrow and you're still waiting 3 days later you would start to wonder what was going on.. hell, you may have even went as far as to commit to something assuming it would be there.. because, come on, they guys that control the delivery SAID it would be there right? ..

The upgrade to the rust game was just yesterday so how could you be waiting the the mod upgrade for 3 days???? #high?

The Rust update is what caused the delay on the R++ update. The update was pretty much good to roll out until that update hit. Once they added the door sharing into Rust itself, it borked the mod. Thus delaying the release of 1.5.
Give them some time. It's not the end of the world.

I installed the 1.4.2 with HFB. and it is working. the leather version is 1.1

i think the delay and that most are not realizing is they were set to release it, but then the game pushed an update and rather than push out 1.5 as not working they are making the adjustments and are going to release it when it is done... the game update just occurred yesterday - give them some time.

By that do you mean they just have to /share them again?
I'm just wondering if the kill announcer will work. That is the best thing ever. I wish it would show how much HP the person that did the killing had when it announced.
