You can reinstall r++ without wiping the server right

I think that might also be to do with Rust itself, as I'm running vanilla and nothing is showing in the console log. When I tried to run rust++, all of that with Streamline we get a connect error, once I removed Rust++ no error. Connectid or something, it says "connected" but thats it. Any fix would be great.

Where does Rust++ write its bans?

I have tried to re-install the server/Rust from scratch, Rein-stalling Rust++, Uninstalling it, Steam Update,then Reinstalling Rust++ and still no luck in getting it to run after today's patch. I have FPSplayers.com as a host, any help would be great!!

Needs a patch. People stuck at connecting. Errors in logs about mesh and cannot load rustpp.dll

rustpp works on my end after updating, only thing I see that didn't function was motd, but it still appears if you type /motd This is after properly uninstalling/updating, which most people seem to not do.

hey guys. this may seem like a noob question/ problem. I'm renting a server from nitrous networks. clean install, using the control panel, I update stream, then install the mood, then rub the rust++ patcher from the control panel. okay so far so good, no errors, boot up the server and logon, I enter my rcon login and it tells me I'm logged in as an admin. I try to run rust++ commands, which don't work, first of them being /setmasteradmin. checked the control panel, abd the server.cfg is there but not rustpp.cfg, so it might nit be active? rust pp.cfg is on the server under / manage/ save I believe( on phone right now) so I'm only running the default server.cfg still it seems, h ow do I get the server to stay/ run the rust pp.cfg? thanks, any help is appreciated.

Needs a patch got it to install and run but no messages on when people join server die etc acting really weird

I personally only get download2.php, I don't know why. And do I need to run and programs besides the steam updater? Because my server hoster won't allow me.

Here's what I've seen doesn't work 1) Auto RCON login - you can use rustppadmin commands, but you need to manually login to rcon 2) Motd doesn't auto display

No Rust++ message for joing the server No Motd it didn't want to load the mods and run on my first two attempts so I did the uninstall all mods patch install until it worked but it seems to be using more Memory usage now then before the update? Anyone else noticed that... no join message or leave server message. didn't save admin logins had to log into Rcon.

When can we expect fixes on those small things? It's been a quick fix so far, but I've had my server down all day due to it. Can't wait to see more updates! Great work on the mod.

Ill see if EquiFox17 can patch this ASAP as i don't have the latest source, hopefully this is the last patch before we release Magma over the next few days.

I am a new server owner/admin and just installed Rust++ so far pretty good running 1.5.2 but some questions. 1. is there a detailed document/FAQ on the config file and settings with examples? :) 2. I want to setup airdrops every hour if there are at least XX players online at the time. How do I configure that? I see it is disabled in my current 1.5.2 3. how do I configure what you start with? some servers I am on I get a stone only, others I get a stone every time I log back on - strange ;) as an admin can I issue commands from the in-game chat window like bans and kicks? I have full access to the FPSPlayer RCON and I tried issuing /setmasteradmin but not sure it worked. is this a chat window, F1 or RCON command? thanks!

How can i set the server to be just day time, or reduce the time of the night? And when Magma will come out? it will be supported by FPS and HFB? Thanks!

Will there be problem with using /tpa or /tp with cheatpunch?

Nitrous Networks - Rust++ works minus the above mentioned issues (rcon login and motd). Just make sure to use the rust++ patcher after reinstalling rust++.

Whitelisting isn't working for me. I have it enabled but people can still login. And the whitelist xml requires the display name or steam login? If it's the display name does it have to be updated everytime they change it? And for friends list do you have to readd friends if they change their display name? I'm using HFB btw

Im sorry if this has already been answered but the command line screen on my server page. Do I do the normal process then select these ? What is the command line option and what do I need to do with it?

Any update guys? Or I may have to switch back to Oxide as we are a modded server.
