Are people aware that because of the steam family thing vac bans are pretty much useless and allows them to still play after vac bans them?

Any new anti cheat is good. I hope it bans by IP this time around.

IP, mac address and even windows ID bans will do very little against hackers + script kiddies. All of these things can be easily changed with a small amount of effort and research. Also we need EAC, punkbuster or any alternative as soon as possible imo.

Can't install this EAC stuff, just says "all done" and then it's still not working and trying to reinstall every time I re-run Rust. Tried manually installing from steamapps with some different settings like admin permissions and compatibility modes and so on... Still not getting it to work.
Any ideas?
