I think you still ned a password but I'm not sure.
I tried it yesterday, too and i got the same message... One week ago I got the message that I have to enter a password, so something changed.

Has anyone in this thread got their password or does this thread just exist so that we don't all spam Gary directly?
There are far too many underage server-admins and I cannot host my own on one of my linux boxes.
Pretty sure this thread is for server companies to contact garry, I just see a bunch of people making alternate accounts trying to get server files.
Also it'd be better if facepunch reached out to server hosters as the current hosters we have are pretty 'meh' and the high standard companies won't be looking here for handouts -- you need to go to them

I like how one guy posted his server specs randomly then everyone followed suit posting them as if it matters for some reason... unless I'm blind it does not say anywhere to post server specs never mind request access here.
