I don't think there's a problem with C4. It's still quite difficult to craft. Garry said himself that he just needs to find better ways to help defend your house because right now there's a whole lot of offense and not a lot of defense. And I detest low-drop servers. The biggest problem with that is that if somebody does get a hold of one of the rare weapons, they'll dominate the whole map. They'll likely get almost every airdrop and have a base you could never penetrate. That exact thing happened on two of the past low-drop servers I was on.
I've actually came across none of the ingredients for C4. Might just be the server I'm on, but it's unmodded so..

High risk, high Reward. And it wouldn't fail, it would explode just great, just not at a time of your choosing. Life is random, stuff blows up unexpectedly. Anyhow, carry on.

Hahahha This kid is so stupid. My house has over 20 doors in it just on my side. That's 40 C4. If make it so you cannot craft C4 how the fuck can you raid? The only kind of person that would make this kind of thread is the noob that is always getting killed/raided. Go cry somewhere else BkRandy.

It would add an element of risk to using it.[/QUOTE] I've suggested before that making explosives/C4 should involve a crafting minigame wherein if you fail, you explode, obliterating anything you might have on you or near you in the process. I wanna see people building a separate shed away from their main house just for making explosives to keep everything else safe!
I would personally tolerate this actually if C4 was generally replaced with a default blueprint for an IED.
