Sylar Ban Appeal - Rust - Facepunch Forum

This isn't for my sake anymore, this is for the servers sake. A dev needs to see this.

In terms of reporting an exploit that gives someone admin access (including ban) on official servers, if I were you [URL="http://support.facepunchstudios.com/"]I'd open a support ticket on the studio's tracker[/URL] rather than waiting for the devs to see this thread and bumping it with contentless bumps (a bad idea).

I had the exact same thing happen to me when I was playing this server about 20 mins ago, I was killing members of the TSGH clan, i denied all accusations and suggested i show them video footage of my session, which I have to prove i wasn't cheating. I was then banned randomly with the reason, 'Disconnected,' followed by 'Banned By admin.' I attempted to join Sydney 3 and could join all other servers but Sydney 2. There were no game bans on my profile. I was approached by one individual who requested I add him to talk about 'private things' previous to the ban ([url]http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198311980233/[/url]). He then asked me through steam chat if I was cheating, and told me that he personally was, and was using artificial aiming. After seeing sylars thread I am led to believe that the same thing has happened to me. ([url]http://steamcommunity.com/id/laternerdXD[/url]) [editline]18th June 2016[/editline] Sylar was clearly not banned for cheating aswell as he would be banned off all other servers if he was. Personally all players should boycott sydney 2 server in attempt to limit population and create a dull and pointless server for the TSGH group to play on if they are going to go to the lengths of hacking the rcon.

It's a shame there are so many hackers on Sydney 2 but with TSGH on the server it becomes an infinite cycle. Maybe do what Elix suggested and open a support ticket.

I was on when Sylar was banned for cheating, he has been a known cheater for a while and had an alt account selling service. Im not sure about how accurate that is but I do have confirmation that Sylar was banned by a hacker associated with TSGH.

I find it a little funny, of course i'm not blaming you that you are cheating, but "cheating" and "being shit". "Being shit" is what starts cheating most of the time. It's 50/50 if the player becomes better at the game or just starts flying through the map at mach 7 with cheats.

I'm seeing so many fucking facepunch staff members answer/respond to ban appeals, except they let mine slide. Even though its the most popular one on the fucking forum.

Have you considered that due to the apparently strange circumstances surrounding your ban that it may require more looking into than the ones from today that were repeat offenders trying to feign innocence?

You've clearly done something wrong or you wouldn't be in this predicament.

It is clear that Sylar was/is not cheating, otherwise he would have a 'game ban' on his profile which he clearly does not. Nor would he be able to access other official servers on the same account. All suggestions that he was cheating are false...
