I really don't think that your replies are helpful. The ban I received was a ban from facepunch seattle server in the video game being developed called "RUST". The rules you directed me to are for this forum and not in game chat. Moderators of this forum are able to get incontact with garry if they feel there is a need to. I think it is quite obvious why I would ask for a moderator.
He is trying to tell you garry is not reading all of the forum, commentary on his forum, steam, facebook accounts.
Yestarday i did check his forum acc, he was onnline a week ago.

1) if you were banned for spamming chat, deal with it. regardless of 15 posts or like iron pi's daily spam floods, it's childish and disruptive. take it on the chin and move on. i'm sure you are not banned from other servers, and i would agree it is likely to be a temporary thing if you were banned for spamming chat.
2) if your friends were not banned fro spamming chat, it is possible you were banned for something else.
3) garry does read these forums. he has either not read this yet, or chosen not to get involved.
4) the moderators here do not involve themselves in ban disputes, and have no reason to harass garry on your behalf.

It has been 24 hours since the ban and I am still only banned from facepunch seattle. How long are temp bans usually? and does anyone know how to check if this is permanent or not?
In vanilla Rust, bans are permanent until removed from the server's banlist. Only garry knows if he intends on removing your ban at some future time.
I could be wrong, but I don't see anything about the default ban command to set a time.

'You are banned on this server' or
'You are banned on this server for 2h 43minutes left'

Seems to be a permanent ban. I really hope that Garry or someone gives me a chance to apologize. I was very active in the community on facepunch seattle. I had almost every single blue print and I hole that garry notices this and decides to help me in some way. and once again I am very sorry for my comments in chat.

Next time something goes wrong, I'll just say "Garry has a toddler and is in a different time zone" - surely this will make everything better. Super helpful. This all coming from someone who has said "I don't understand the mindset of people who play Rust as their daily driver." I have no idea why you would continue posting anything after having admitted that. You said it yourself, you don't understand.
I saw nothing to indicate that he wanted an immediate answer about this. I also saw no reason to believe he was demanding an answer from Garry himself. This is the most logical place for people to post a question about anything Rust related, so why put someone down for asking a question? Some on here might have some answers for him about bans in general, to include how long they last, a reason, ect.

A perm ban for spamming a few lines of chat seems harsh considering the amount of racism/abuse that goes on in chat that goes unpunished. I hope you get your ban lifted at some point since you have friends on that server.

I was only going by this thread, if its as you say then I hope the ban sticks, I have no patience for racists.
