Hey everyone, I'm thinking about making some skins, but I cannot open the FBX file on Maya and in Mudbox the mesh is fuc**ed up.
How are you doing your skins? Painting in Photoshop? Is anyone using a 3D software?

Sorry I don't know what are you talking about. I had a special version before with the old mesh. This is a new one taking advantage of the 4 new materials.

Oh, I didn't see that post before...
Why would you use Maya or Mudbox? Do you want to paint on the 3d model?
Usually you just take the sample skins and work from that, in plain old 2d. It's all mapped and unwrapped nicely, so you can just dive right in and see the changes on the model inside Unity. Really nothing to it.

Hey, i just uploaded a skin, was wondering how the mechanics work for it getting accepted or not?
how many positive votes or what % is required before the FP guys decide its worthy?
I have a question, which is probably best picked up by someone at Facepunch, but I'll ask it anyway.
Is there a rough ETA for custom model support in the uploader?
Also it would be helpful to have all of the animations in the SDK and skinned assets for each item class.
