haha ok my bad :p
I'm sorry, this is stupid and nitpicky, but you should put your responses under the quoted text.

I'm even going to rate myself dumb for saying this lol. Nvm, I can't self-rate... surprised I've never tried that before.
So just to clear up the general consensus
The way I see it rust is focussed obsessively on polishing instead of add ons. Opening the game up to the public for discussion is great and all but sometimes the developers need to execute their own decision instead of frantically trying to satisfy all of the players. I love rust and I think what the developers are doing are amazing but I just hope that they carry out THEIR dream and keep in mind others.
Give this game 1 month, by April 26th I'm sure they will have added a huge update. I'm kind of getting sick of people bitching about the game now, nobody is even providing suggestions anymore, it's just a bitch fest. And the suggestions that do get added are fucking terrible, it's time we all stop posting and just WAIT A MONTH.
If you want to complain about the game don't bother, just post new ideas or don't post at all. If you want to force the company to update then simply protest by not paying any attention to the game, once the community disappears the dev's will know what to do. Until then they don't see all the complaints, they see popularity and user base. As long as people are talking about Rust they can take all the time they want, it's once people STOP talking about Rust that Garry will bring something new to the table.

What you call polishing is what others call establishing a strong foundation so that adding in templatable content, or "add ons", down the road is more efficient and reliable with minimal wasted work. You're looking at page two of the devs' priorities.
Have. Patience.
I don't get why people want them to keep going, I mean man I already got near 600 hours in rust. I got all my moneys worth and then some. It could stop now and I wouldn't even be mad.
I want them to keep going because it has so damn much potential and it can be so much more.
Also, I don't get how people can play this for 300+ hours. It started feeling absolutely senseless after about 250h.
Right now the game is completely imbalanced, we need user created mods to attempt to balance the game.
I would focus more on baby stepping away from COD combat than adding tons of new items.
I think the real problem is the players are forgetting this is an alpha game, and they are going to do what they feel is best in regards to content. There is no reason people should be blowing up huts with c4 and shooting everyone with m4's 2 hours after a wipe.

No, you need patience. Balance is not a key feature of alpha.
Your feedback is also less valuable to the devs if your Rust gameplay experience has been severely altered by gameplay mods that "fix" problems. You're not playing Rust anymore, you're playing Rust and then a bunch of random changes to the ruleset, which is not what the devs need help testing.
You want Rust to be finished, but you're going to need patience, because that's a fair ways off.
