Legacy works, experimental doesn't. Obviously I'm wanting to play experimental.
Are you having trouble with experimental or legacy, duckygoonstea?
Here's the problem, but why this happened is another thing. I looked at the pastebin log again and saw that you are indeed crashing on the experimental client, so I edited my post.
I'm mostly up to date on windows updates, doing what is available now along with the .net framework

So frustrating. Updated .Net and still nothing. Not sure what else i can do.
Huh. Make sure .NET Framework 4.5.2 is installed. If it is, repair it and restart. Also make sure you've done your Windows Updates.
I'm not an expert in reading dumps, so I don't know exactly what's breaking, just that it's breaking and your machine should be capable of physically running it (enough ram, etc.).
@elixwhitetail So with your Reg-Fix Rust start, but in the Serverselect it shows 0 Server. Any fix for that?(I start Rust over Steam)

It's GoodGuyGrant's fix, actually. Do you have any security software installed? Make sure you don't have an antivirus or firewall interfering with Rust. Disable them temporarily and see if that solves the problem.
Also, search because there are numerous threads on the server list problem, this thread is about the EAC error and registry fix.
Befor i used your Fix i started Rust via the RustClient.exe and it shows me the Server and i could connect but get always a kick after a few seconds. I will disable Bitdefender and try it. :) I will make reply if it works for me or not.
Edit: So disable the Firewall works now i must find out where the AntiCheat Programm is so that i can allowed it. Rust.exe and RustClient.exe are already allowed.
BitDefender needs to have stealth mode turned off. It is specifically incompatible with Rust and will fuck it up every time.
Starting the game by RustClient.exe bypasses EAC, and because EAC's not running you'll be kicked from any server with security enabled.
Disable the stealth mode work :) thy i hope i can play now :)
do we have to make the text file on the desktop or in a folder somewhere? and does avast anti virus work with rust eac
The .reg file can be saved anywhere. Doesn't matter. Stick it on your desktop and then double-click.
Reading page 2 is hard.
If Rust doesn't work, and disabling Avast makes it work, you'll have your answer (and will need to set exceptions).
EAC should be living in Windows\system32\ as EasyAntiCheat.exe, if the paths it was complaining about are correct.
Plese someon can rive me another link of the .reg file Google drive says me i can't download

Or you could've read page 2 of this very thread where I provided the full contents of the file with instructions on how to create the .reg file yourself when others had a problem downloading it. Thanks for sharing the link, however.
Thanks for the help GGG and elixwhitetail it worked for me.
However I did have trouble getting the reg edit to work at one point because the person I copied the txt contents from on page2 of this thread had put a space in the middle of the word cheat which was messing it up, I should have copied yours from the start heh.

The poster didn't do that, the forum did. It automatically inserts spaces into long non-stop text strings so they don't break the forum formatting. [ code][ /code] blocks don't, which is why I used one for the registry file contents.
The latest update should now fix the issue. Please let us know if it still happens.
GGG, thanks so much for posting your fix. It helped where no one else could. I've had a ticket open with facepunch for a week and everything they suggested was unsuccessful. You da best!
