The ban is permanent. You will need a new account to play again.
One easy way to avoid bans is to not pay for commercial game cheats in the first place.

A cracked version of windows won't do shit to your game nor any patch for it. Using a cracked OS since I had my first PC, never been banned on anything. I'll try to put it more simple: During the last months you might've tried to use a cheat in Rust, doesn't matter when, just during the course of these 3 months. When the wave time came you were taken with it. That's a way for anti cheats to make the hackers(the real ones, the ones that created the cheat) to not know if their cheat was detected or if it was something else.
P.S: oh well while writing this comment it seems EAC confirmed it, have fun with the new copy of rust.
what exactly were you expecting? if you were detected, and that data was checked by EAC staff who confirmed there was nothing wrong with the detection data (because they have a comprehensive list of cheat signatures for anything that works in rust, and can do that), do you expect you saying "nah, because the cheats for rust don't work like that" is going to somehow prove EAC wrong?
