Yep, same with me. Only one server. Logged out after Furnaces stopped working (they were acting like loot boxes), and when I tried to reconnect keep getting this.
Same here, only one server. Logged to wait my friend and when i'm going to connect to the server, puff, this error.
Getting the issue on the only server i play on, ([AU]DingoRust) Have 5 friends online and are all on that server without issues. Any known fixes ?
I didn't think we had a US west server, only east?
Also if it's a community server you need to try and contact them to reset their servers
A bunch of other games have also experienced this issue today if you check the steam stats, It's something wrong with steam authentication

I'm on an active community based server with dedicated players but nobody even knows who the admin is, is there any way to find out ?

Been there, done that. Verified Cache, reinstalled game, reset interwebs, fiddle with options, closed all programs, prayed to Glycon and sacrificed a Dropbear.
Still can't join.

Even Glycon couldn't answer that one. The dropbear muttered something but it died on me before I could make any sense of it.

i'm having the same problem with official server us eastcoast 3 (large)
just started for me logged out and tried to log back in 30 min later tops and no go get the authfailure error
my friend i play with had the same thing it went away not even 10 minutes later.....
just saying an update on this would be nice as to the actual problem... again i'm on an official server not a private one

Hey, I'm sorry to hear about your trouble, can you confirm you've updated your steam, relaunched it, and the issue persists? Also, are you on the stable branch or did you opt into the dev branch?

my steam is always up to date... but i double checked it is.... I've tried relaunching just game, then game and steam both still have a problem.... i have checked game cache integrity says everything is good there.... i have restarted my computer still have same problem.... i don't know what you mean stable branch or dev branch. i'm assuming stable as i have no ability to do anything but play the game.

I reinstalled steam, Rust and have restarted my computer but still have the same problem. I play in Belgium (playrust.eu) server and my username is Lightning_Lion there. Hope you find the problem, for it is there I have played all the time. I'm coming in on all the other servers.
my partner and i are playing from the same internet connection, and have been for the last couple days. this morning, at some point, he began experiencing this error on US East Coast 3 (Large). it's still working fine on the other machine.
he's tried rebooting his machine, updating steam, etc - nothing works. he can get into other servers.
Restarting east coast servers now
I am on stable branch with updated and restarted steam. Still having auth issues on US East 3 (large)
P.S. I can connect to some user run servers fine

I'm just having a problem with a server i've been on most of the day. I've been getting this error for about 3 hours.
Still having the issue with US East Coast PvP
Appreciate your timely help Helk. My specific server still is locking me out, like a few others. Have the IP if you'd like, but I'm honestly not sure if it's under one of your domains or a community server.
US Central 1 is boning me right now, been having the same error for hours now. (Facepunch_connector_authfailure)
I have restarted steam multiple times and reinstalled Rust aswell. Any help would be nice.
