If you want something with long range shooting,
why not crossbow, botls have to fly, so it doest kill you so fast ,
and it still can deal considerable dmg and bleeding, for nerfing it a bit,
the bolt could make some sort of sound as it flies.
Just idea.

Well, yes an no. The problem would clearly be primarily the aimbot in that situation but the problem wouldn't be nearly as bad with a weapon like the M4. If they added a proper sniper rifle to the game, i'd imagine it would have a much longer range than the M4 which would make the given scenario all the more difficult to deal with. If the longest range weapon an aimboter had to work with was the M4 then all you'd have to do is stay out of the relatively short M4 range of whatever tower they built until the hacker is dealt with.
Instead of sniper rifles, I think they should perhaps add a scope attachment. Maybe a 2x, 3.4x, 8x scope? It provides an alternative to a sniper rifle. I personally do not think snipers should be added, but if they changed the map to one that was larger, that is a different story.
