The new update don't solved it. Anybody works it?
well there was another update, and still a checksum error. awesome! [editline]1st May 2015[/editline] just got a response from the rust support saying "We are looking into the issue" very informative :)
Now Im getting wrong protocol connection
Now Im getting wrong protocol connection
do the update, then you'll go back to getting a checksum error.
do the update, then you'll go back to getting a checksum error.
I just updated it
Wrong protocol means the server hasn't updated yet, you are running a different game version.

nice, now the hapis island server i was on just disappeared. and i cant connect to any other server without getting the checksum error. [editline]1st May 2015[/editline]
Churr uce [editline]2nd May 2015[/editline] How did you contact them?
i just looked up rust support on google and found them.
Yeah, similar issue for me. Though I am waiting for this latest update to get loaded on the problem server. I'll let you know. On Mac, I can access all the servers I've tried except the one I have been playing of for two weeks "NOOB FRIENDLY. FRESH WIPE 4/23/15" If I boot to Windows I can log on to that server without the "Checksum does not match" error message. I too tried the cache verification. I even tried removing rust local files and did a full removal of Steam. Searched out all the prefs and application support files I could find and deleted them. Did a fresh install with the same results. Somethings up... But alas I've moved to a different server for now. I'll check in if things change with this latest update.
I send an email to suppport, when they answer me I will tell you.
yeah keep us updated spekeer. as far as i know its only the rust official servers that have this issue. community servers are fine.
The community servers have the problem too. I have seen that the problem is with the Procedural maps.
The community servers have the problem too. I have seen that the problem is with the Procedural maps.
ah yeah youre right. hoping they fix this by tonight but doubt it with all the other bugs with the latest patch.
I send an email to suppport, when they answer me I will tell you.
Thanks please do.
Thanks please do.
yeah, 11 hours later and still nothing. shame.
Still the same. And the server says fresh wipe today. Fortunately this is only happening on this one server for me. Odd.
Still the same. And the server says fresh wipe today. Fortunately this is only happening on this one server for me. Odd.
just one server? fuck its every procedural for me. wish they could at least give us an estimate. Garry said all issues should be fixed now on his Q&A so I hope he realizes this issue exists. 36 hours and counting with this bs [editline]1st May 2015[/editline] if anyone has any idea how to solve this issue please let me know. or if youre having the same error e-mail rust support so theyre aware of it.
Checksum does not match Client=2910c02f1f33525d82ec6515618614fe Server=ecb46e9de8a5db74e9f863ac9cef8eee Wich one is the latest, people on my server having the same issue. server is updated though :":
Still broken not even sure if facepunch admins know its a thing or are blatantly just ignoring it.
yup, just tried again, same problem.
I'm still waiting the support's answer.
I'm still waiting the support's answer.
well that's surprising. :)
still no response spekeer?
lol, now there's a bug on the hapisisland server where rocks spawn underwater and there are no barrels. so the only server i can play on has a severe bug and i cant play on procedural maps. rust development need to get on this!
Still broken lovely
still no response spekeer?
Nope. :S
Yes everything you said is correct. It seems windows 32 bit and mac users are getting this error and I pray to god you can fix this as I am really loving the game at the moment and this obviously makes the game unplayable 100% .
Wow this suxx so hard. When i got this Problem on my win32bit Computer i already went crazy, but then i figured out it should run on my Macbook. WOW AGAIN same shit...
Nope. :S
wow. [editline]3rd May 2015[/editline]
Wow this suxx so hard. When i got this Problem on my win32bit Computer i already went crazy, but then i figured out it should run on my Macbook. WOW AGAIN same shit...
tough man, it's really a shame that the devs wont respond to customer inquiries. Nor post a single update on whether they're working on the problem or just waiting till the next general patch (and who knows how long that will take). the only server i can play now is hapisisland and its bugged to hell (no rocks or barrels spawning and random disconnects) so essentially the game as a whole has been unplayable for 4 days now. i understand that its in alpha, but i would appreciate an update from any of the devs, twitter, garry, anybody, on whether they know about the issue and if theyre going to fix it anytime soon. ignoring people who paid $20.00 to support your game isn't cool.
so has anyone gotten word from rust support about this issue? i have a buddy who emailed them on fri and they still haven't responded (along with spekeer on these boards). any updates would be greatly appreciated.
If you guys are genuinely expecting 7-day-a-week prompt support for an alpha game, you need to think about what you're doing for a moment.
ignoring people who paid $20.00 to support your game isn't cool.
$20? Heeeey, big spender...
