Like really? We have a house that NOONE can actually raid in normal ways and those guys: http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198128749798/ http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198156336956/ just got inside house trough the walls and stole everything in our nearly 40x40 house? not a single wall destroyed This rust experimental is following the legacy...cheaters all around...is it worth spending any more time in this game while cheaters can just come and steal everything without a proper fight? We spent a lot of hours getting resources and everything...we had more than 40 boxes full...and now it is all gone Admins, where are you? How come you are just watching how those guys are ruining your game?
Indeed. I kinda gave up 2 weaks ago for the same reason. I love all the new content that comes in and the hard work that they are puting in. But with cheaters rampant like this all the new content is pointles...
I agree with the posts above. It is one thing to get raided, meaning some random guy/girl put some effort in conquer your House. If he /she succeeds- Respect to them. But on the other hand if someone just walks or jumps into your House, just by using cheats, I think this kind of behavior should be sankcionised.
Both accounts have been banned by automatic cheat detections. The cheat they used will be blocked shortly from working.
proof that the system works;) thanks for the update knubbe
System is not working...one of my friends was fighting with them for roughly 30 mins and i heard they "raided" many houses...that means system is too slow!
System is not working...one of my friends was fighting with them for roughly 30 mins and i heard they "raided" many houses...that means system is too slow!
If it bans people instantly, then people can poke at it to figure out which cheats work and which ones don't. By delaying detection, it becomes a lot riskier to use a cheat. If cheats are a problem for you, find a community server to play on. The official servers are not moderated.
System is not working...one of my friends was fighting with them for roughly 30 mins and i heard they "raided" many houses...that means system is too slow!
seriously? you are complaining about a ban taking 30 minutes?
you didn't understand me mrknifey...only 1 person was fighting with them for 30 mins and they raided a lot of bases...i'm not complaining about cheaters...i know it is still prerelase i am well aware of that. Anyway thank you knubbe for that info.
this guy was on cheating rampage 3 days now.... i was raided by this guy with noclip and flying like 5 times... so dont tell me that it bans in 30 min's anyway i hope in 3 days every hacking shithead will get banned... Stay Safe from $†ム レ қ ⓔ Я
you say both got banned? http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198128749798/ this guy is still playing rust...
I see the banHammer:rolleye: is working fantastic
you say both got banned? As MaximumOver referred to, delaying the actual banhammer coming down makes it harder for cheaters to know which cheats are detected, and it allows you to catch more cheaters, because if you instantly banned the first one for a cheat as soon as you detected it, the cheat makers would change the cheat to be harder to detect, and all that hard work would only catch a handful of them. Instead, you let them think they're safe for two weeks and run up a long list, and then you drop the bomb and all of them wake up to a Rust they can't play anymore except for on unsecured servers (which means other cheaters).
As MaximumOver referred to, delaying the actual banhammer coming down makes it harder for cheaters to know which cheats are detected,
In this case they may have a hunch that it was the flying through the air for three days wot did it?
One Question about you only... are you playing rust or u just talk in forums... and also i will tell you something.. So if i am playing the game for like 2 weeks and i gathered a lot of stuff wit blood and wit 10 hr's a day and some hacking fucktard come and loot all my stuff in like 30 secs this is fucked up... so i am guessing that u dont play anymore or u are some admin in some server so you dont have to play alot to get the stuff... i am 24 yrs old and i am not crying or anything but i show other your post's that u made before and u speak like a complete tard that the only thing that u want is to show to ppl that u know everything and the game has not any bugs or problems at all... gj doing shity job mate :) I am speaking About elixwhitetail (User was banned for this post ("Don't be rude." - postal))
In this case they may have a hunch that it was the flying through the air for three days wot did it?
Despite the threads they make here like clockwork, I'm sure cheaters know why they were banned. However, they may be running multiple hacks, or hacks that pack multiple functions together (flying and aimbot and ESP and lighthacks and godmode and so on), and not all of those features may be detected -- if bans clearly hit only people using the aimbot function of this hypothetical hack package, the cheat makers will know to warn everyone to stop using the aimbot, but to continue using the rest. The idea is that when the ban wave hits, the cheat makers should think that the entire cheat is detected and not just one function they can disable and continue the hacking party. The more the ban wave hints at its detection causes, the easier it is for cheats to get patched. Obviously, if a cheater is running exactly one hack and that hack is suddenly not working and they're banned from secured servers, it's a no-brainer as to what happened. they should ban a hacker's IP then
It takes way less time and effort to change ip than to use cheats. Ip ban is not realy efective. In my case i have a dynamic IP so all i need to do is to restart my modem...
Hackers ruined the game at Moscow 2
Looks like the ban hammer has fallen. Be prepared for a flood of ban appeals. https://twitter.com/garrynewman/status/596029610300710913
