no, i am saying he deserves to have the developers bend to his will(to a degree). these 'others' you speak of also deserve that
they're the devs, they do whatever the fuck they want.
lol. i'm not defending cheaters, i'm saying to step into the shoes of the developers right now. you're not playing rust to have fun right now. how about you go play something else instead of bitching. it'll be fixed when it's fixed.
I am playing it for fun. You are defending cheaters, like I said, you cheated your self multiple times on Rust.
they're the devs, they do whatever the fuck they want.
Yes they can do what they want, but who says we can't suggest an action that would improve the gameplay? Plus, that action would only take a very short amount of time. EDIT: We aren't asking very much here.
We don't 'deserve' fuck all from the devs, they do what they want. getting mad at them for doing what they want with their game is stupid
all im saying is that these people that are publicity for the game are doing the devs a favor, so the devs should help them out when the demands are not unreasonable.
all im saying is that these people that are publicity for the game are doing the devs a favor, so the devs should help them out when the demands are not unreasonable.
Well, honestly right now the more notice the game gets the more annoying it can be, but on the other hand, obviously more buyers. I'm just saying it might be a little too early for the developers to be rewarding spreading of the game.
We don't 'deserve' fuck all from the devs, they do what they want. getting mad at them for doing what they want with their game is stupid
i am not mad at them at all. it is their decision, but if they want positive publicity then they really should handle the issues that are minuscule and easy to do
Were all ment to be testing the game here, I must admit at least the hackers are finding hacks that the devs can try there best to fix, but then again for normal players that's trying to find other bugs with the game it can be very aggravating getting killed by someone out of nowhere in about 0.5 seconds, I'm not really begging for these guys to be banned as of straight away because the devs are probably busy with other stuff, but hey, if they get banned it's a +1 for us.
I am playing it for fun. You are defending cheaters, like I said, you cheated your self multiple times on Rust.
well the main purpose is to test. so there's your problem. anyway, apparently once or twice to experiment (hardly killed anyone while i did so, just you) to you means i'm cheating 24/7. i'm not doing it at all anymore, because i'm interested in playing the game normally.
Yes they can do what they want, but who says we can't suggest an action that would improve the gameplay? Plus, that action would only take a very short amount of time.
all im saying is that these people that are publicity for the game are doing the devs a favor, so the devs should help them out when the demands are not unreasonable. also, the fact that you are a cheater makes everything you say illegitimate
i'm not a cheater, and that's pretty ignorant all i'm saying is, yeah, inform the devs, but quit bugging about it. they're obviously aware of the situation.
well the main purpose is to test. so there's your problem. anyway, apparently once or twice to experiment (hardly killed anyone while i did so, just you) to you means i'm cheating 24/7. i'm not doing it at all anymore, because i'm interested in playing the game normally.
I never said you cheat 24/7. I just think cheating at all in a closed alpha like this is pathetic. Pretty interesting you admit to it too. I remember when you said "doesn't matter, you don't have it recorded" and I told you I did record. Lel.

This really should not take too long to fix
...if they get banned it's a +1 for us.
I think it's more of a +10,000 for us and about a +1000 for the developers. If they were to do a quick sweep and ban these people, we would be able to play in peace and help test the game for them.
wouldn't you rather have people cheat in an alpha and see the problems it causes, than have people go fuck wild in a full release
testing the hacks and using them to ruin other peoples time are two different things
I am playing it for fun. You are defending cheaters, like I said, you cheated your self multiple times on Rust.
i've never seen a rules page in rust. i've never read anywhere saying "don't use external shit to increase your speed", so it's not really cheating
you don't know if you're asking very much or not, and you don't know if it will take a short amount of time. you don't know how it works to ban people in their game. maybe it's convoluted, maybe they just don't want to fucking deal with it right now? who knows.
I'm pretty sure it is just a matter of typing a command, and if it is more than that it won't be much harder. They aren't going to have to fly to the moon and back to ban an account.
wouldn't you rather have people cheat in an alpha and see the problems it causes, than have people go fuck wild in a full release
Of course, you're still not doing a good job of justify you cheating in a closed alpha though. When the evidence is so plentiful for so many people, it would be cool for someone like a forum admin to be able to deal with a few of the bigger cheaters.
i've never seen a rules page in rust. i've never read anywhere saying "don't use external shit to increase your speed", so it's not really cheating
it really does not matter. it is an exploit and it is used to be mean to other people, so it might as well be cheating
i've never seen a rules page in rust. i've never read anywhere saying "don't use external shit to increase your speed", so it's not really cheating
Not sure if you quite know the definition of cheating. Breaking rules is not the same as cheating. "Act dishonestly or unfairly in order to gain an advantage, esp. in a game or examination: "she cheats at cards"."
i've never seen a rules page in rust. I've never read anywhere saying "don't use external shit to increase your speed", so it's not really cheating
Seriously? It's not a matter of technicality. They are hacking to ruin our testing in the game. That seems like it would be a problem to a developer whether it is a rule or not.
You all act like a bunch of whiny pussies. This forum is really..special, isnt it? Fuckwads.
Stop making threads to report hackers, jesus. It's more than likely that the developers are working on an actual way to solve the speedhacking instead of banning people for a very obvious exploit.
You all act like a bunch of whiny pussies. This forum is really..special, isnt it? Fuckwads.
do you realise that you will be banned for flaming? do you not have anything better to do? if this forum is so lame then why are you reading it? go away
You all act like a bunch of whiny pussies. This forum is really..special, isnt it? Fuckwads.
Yes because you are doing so much to forward the development of the game by calling us who are trying to get hackers banned "whiny pussies" and "fuckwads".
At the end it lies completely in the developers hands. Do not expect too much. The keys have been given out mostly forums intern for a reason.
Stop making threads to report hackers, jesus. Seems like most of the guys on this thread are just hating on Psi. I agree with him though. If the devs would just take 10mins out of each day to go on a report thread where theres tons of video evidence of people hacking and just ban those accounts the game would be a whole lot better. They don't need an anti-cheat for that. Since theres no more keys going out (for now) they only have to deal with a small group and after they're banned the game would be 100 times more fun. Theres people out there that actually wanna play the game fair and enjoy it, these hackers are lucky enough to have a beta-key and they use it to ruin the game.

I am suggesting they take like 30 minutes off of an update to focus on hackers. -Griefing is mostly caused by hackers who spawn in items. Otherwise it is a legitimate structure. Hacking is bigger than all of those.
