Are you kidding me dude? They're the devs, they don't need to give you shit. And they certainly don't need to give a vaild reason why they aren't doing it yet, it's their fucking game.
If they aren't gonna post something to the board about not giving out keys, then they certainly aren't gonna do it to address the hacker situation either.
Psi with the banning I think they should get an IP ban instead of a normal one. Cause if they get their hands on another account they'll waste keys and still Hack. So yeah IP bans are our best bets.

It's not very hard to change your IP address. In fact it's easier than hacking the game.
Can't accounts just get deleted? Since you need a beta key if you were just to ban whoevers account it is then they wouldn't be able to get back on. It'd be a good solution atleast for now. The ingame username is the same as the account name so it'd be easy to find aswell.

well that complicates that. I mean maybe they could try to shut the computer itself away from the game. But I'm not sure if it's even an option

It's kinda hard to get your hands on an account, no need for an IP ban.

But jesus christ do the two conflict horribly...anyway...its pretty obvious controlling hackers isn't a high-up matter on the devs list, but at the same time hackers do tend to be especially douchey to streamers because they can. Anyway, lewis, if I were you I would put off streaming rust for now, at least until the mass amount of cheating is somewhat dealt with in the future. Anywho, love your content, need more dayz plz.
EDIT: Im surprised a mod didn't lock the thread yet, considering someone else posted nearly the exact same thing as you in another thread and it was locked after about 5 replies..

I'm sure they want this bickering to stop, so the solution of that would be to tell us why they aren't banning. What is the point of us testing if they aren't going to communicate with us?

It seems all the accounts that were created with the 00000000 key are now inactive so surely if that has been implemented then a simple db lookup is all you need to do on MrNiko then deactivate account simples
