I think rust needs more civilian guns. Single shot shotguns, .22 rifles, archery, etc. Not tacticool m4s and berettas.
Oh, sorry. That was a little confusing. I mean that the SKS and M1A is designed as a military weapons, but they are easily accessible to the civilian gun market.
I agree that that would be good (but semi-autos ew) but I think civilian designed weapons should come first
For a turret maybe an arrow cart could work?
hahaha are you for real? all bolt actions are snipers? high, but compensated by being slow to aim and low rate of fire... duh a M4 with ACOG would have a longer effective range in the end [editline]29th June 2013[/editline] civilian as in always designed for civilian use stuff like sako 85, remington model 7600, etc. SKS was designed for the military from the start, then found it's way into civilian hands.
Ok, think what you want to, but go try to use a bolt-action for close-range purposes. Also, I actually have a bolt-action, and I hunt deer. (Long-range)
A spoon!
So, I was thinking about this. I don't have Rust, but I do know there aren't much weapons. I think they should add military weapons in military outposts/bases where you can find M16's, M9's, and other, "end-game" weapons. But, the catch would be there could be zombies with armor, or possibly becoming infected from special zombies.
Maybe a Rainbow poop gun it shoots out rainbow poop and it splats on walls and slowly slides down i hope garry looks into that :D
I for one would rather not see any high military weapons at all, people with high end weapons feel more free to shoot on sight, this fenomena will stil exist since some items have to be better relatively and so people who aquire those will be more protective. And other than that, crafting in my opinion should be limited to "civilian designed weapons", there a lot of examples for that in the fallout games, and of course, ignoring the old school weapons in a game like this should be considerd a crime, where's the bow and arrow, I want to be able to toss rocks using a piece of leather, or maybe a band to some wood, those should be the main weapons in hand, the higher tier, like home made rifles, or found rifles should be much harder to aquire, something that is left for those who team up to use each other's strength... But on the other hand I haven't realy played the game so I can't realy say I know what I'm talking about.
Give me a machine gun with a working bipod attachment and I'll be set.
Firearms should be hard to get and people should fight more with a weaponry like spears, bows and throwing knives. That would be cool
Guns seem a little too easy to get, personally I think it would be great if there was a more primitive tier of weapons. like bows and arrows and knives the idea of making guns in a campfire by hand seems ridiculous you should at least have to combine some parts or something more complex
If there were more weapons, there would be a crap ton of spawn-kills #BadIdea
have you ever seen a gun game without a sniper? its inevitable.
I would like to see a good old fashion Bow & Arrow, or crossbow added.
