Still lagging when facing the North of the Map? GET 200-300% performance improvement. - Rust

Even using the dev branch build, and tweeks the OP listed, I was at 60+ fps now I'm back down to 20ish, again. Not sure what changed but damn it went from very playable to pretty unplayable :( *Edit* downgraded from dev build to regular alpha build, repatched, seems to be back to normal with the OP tweeks.

Well my friend and I have improved fps for us that happened after the patch today. :) And he has a low end computer too.

Anyone using the OP tweaks getting a lot of crashes? Sometimes literally back to back crashes, other times I can play for an hour or two without a single crash (Rust has stopped working Windows error). I've attempted googling the error code the crash lists but 0 results ever found.

Main menu is VERY laggy when using 1,2 and 3 and I cant get to a game. Any solutions?

UPDATE: Remove the glitchy sky just by setting AA to 2x. This can be done from the game options. Where can i find settings for AA ? Or is this the Fantastic, Simple, Fastest ?

It took alot of studying this thread to finally come to a conclusion. I tried EVERYTHING with 1, 2, and 3! 3 worked for a couple minutes and my framerate increased a ton, but it crashed within fixing the sky and flipping the upside down weapons. Other than that none of these worked well for me all that well. So I tried 10, 10-1, and 11. This did pretty much nothing. I decided to look further down the thread for a solution and I came across -force-gfx-direct and this is probably the best FPS fix ive encountered so far. I havent attemped to use the -force-d3d11-no-singlethreaded yet. -force-gfx-direct is probably your best bet until GARRY decides the implement more graphical options. Thanks!

I still use this "force-d3d11 -force-feature-level-9-3 -popupwindow" and it helps a lot.60fps and i really don't have a maestro graphic card.

This doesn't work for me I tried typing all of them into console or putting them in start up, but nothing changes at all.

Where do you guys find the "AA" settings ? I can't find them in the options in the game. It's just Render graphics and my keyboard keys. Im using a laptop not designed for anything other than basic tasks. CPU: Intel i5 1.7ghz, RAM 4gb, integrated graphics. Before it was on the boarder of unplayable, but now th game works great. I can actually see the animations and shoot properly! Thanks for the tip bro!
