Of course, those are valid points.
But don't get me wrong, I didn't mean to excuse all bad things with the alpha thing, but that person was clearly not fully aware of the state of things and since the heli is very new, for example, things like balancing really are understandably yet to be hammered out (and will have to be again with the next set of changes). There was no mention of performance.
Of course, the development style and decision making might not agree with everybody, but in my opinion it is a pretty good middle way between constant content updates and "QA". You fix stuff as you go along. (Well, the recent SNAFU was obviously different)

And, if you can't handle the length of time it takes to make a game, never buy Early Access games ever again. It's not finished and games normally take several years to make.
Rust is also an online multiplayer game and singleplayer was never promised.
And if you bought any game on Steam you have to go to Steam for a refund instead of bothering the developer.

Hi developers! I want to offer idea on control of a gameplay in your game. I think it will be better if than a gun like AK-47, a rifle and others, were created on different important objects. Tank or airport for example. There will be there a machine or a fabrikator which will work at fuel and only on it it will be possible to make the high-class weapon. the weapon will be created some minutes. then the weapon will become more valuable and on these objects will pass mass battles. Also I think it is possible to add handicraft guns like double-barreled gun, the fowling piece or the self-made gun which can be made without fabrikator. That means, you have to be on the dev branch: In Steam, go to Rust -> Properties -> Beta participation and select an option like "Development - latest stable Updates" or what ever it's called
(I'm quoting from memory and translating from German, so the names for things might not be exactly the same)
Then, make sure your client is up-to-date.
This should have you playing on the dev server again.

i presume he means which beta you are opted into. go to "properties" for rust, the "betas" tab and check what you are opted into. some updates will reset this to "none".

I have bought every skin on the Rust Market and I cannot use them. I can select the skin even thought I have to spam the left click button. Once I have the skin I want on the craft screen. I press the craft button and nothing happens. I've talked to many of my friends which have skins and they can use them, but they do not own all the skins. Please fix this I've spent alot of money on these skins to support the community here and I think I deserve to use my skins.

When I load the Procedural Map when I enter a game Rust crashes to the desktop, I am just wondering how far along you all are on fixing this bug? Is there any information I can provide to help things along? is it possible to change loading the Procedural map to before update 81 (I think is when it started, I would have to double check) I really dig this game and haven't been able to play for about 7ish weeks now I think?

There are many players like me who love to play at Rust but undergo frequent wipes,
So here is my idea:
When someone would have made a finished construction and he apreciated, it is possible to learn the lifetime bp this one!
Like that after a wipe it suffirant to have the resources needed to ask only for her house just like the one we had! because it would save his plan !! bp over the houses could be offered on the workshop why not ...
The next we'll see marked bp: 500 000 Wood 500 000 200 000 stone and metal for example .. depending obviously had claimed the house ..

I like the idea, however there are some hurdles that strike me right away:
It would definitely take a lot of work to implement and I have a feeling it would be a great source of glitches and exploits since this is a rather complex concept that relies on structures built with a building system that is still undergoing changes, and left up to the player (always a great challenge: the unfathomable creativity and/or deviousness of the player base :) ). Well, I guess if the devs sink enough time into this, it's no different from other great changes and concepts.

I'm not sure if blocks that have snapped into place are implemented by actual grouping in the current iteration of the building system?... I think it is, but if you just used the "everything that's connected" method you couldn't have detached elements on your build.

Also, save for [B]exploits[/B] of the building queue canceling method ([B]which still exists to this day btw, Facepunch[/B]) or modded servers, players usually can't carry that many resources
Then it would be a bitch to place for larger bases, especially if you're working across several levels of height
It would be super powerful, so workshop items are completely out of the question. (I hope FP don't change their views on their views on workshop items)
And most of all: Base design should remain an art, IMHO.
This would take away a major integral piece of what makes Rust Rust.
Well, when I look at all of those modded servers with insta-craft, huge stacks and all that BS... that would fit right in there, and apparently there's a great demand for that sort of thing. (To me it just feels like they could just as well be playing CS:GO or what ever. That's not Rust anymore...)
Well, it seems that most of those reasons are quite trivial... I have the feeling that I'm overlooking something. It's just a feeling that this not going to be implemented.

This is technically not the place to be coming up with new ideas. But while we're on that subject: I noticed a couple of days ago, the [B]FP Forum [URL="http://support.facepunchstudios.com/kb/4-rust"]ticket system[/URL] for Rust has been removed[/B]... sort of. In part.
There used to be a section for bug reports and one for ideas/suggestions with an up-vote system, which was quite nice.
The decision to remove that probably came along with the implementation of the in-game bug report. That part I understand, but it's a shame the suggestion section is now gone too.
So that leaves me with the question:

Doesn't sound like something FP will be doing, but maybe the community will come up with something like that.
There was/is a mod that would alert you on your phone when your base was being raided, so there are some pretty active modders out there. (I saw something about that a couple of months ago)
I don't think a video feed is feasible at all, hell no, just imagine the traffic, but I could imagine something like a picture that's updated every couple of seconds, captured at position and using the orientation of a placed object, like the turret. They could be saved on the server and overwritten per user ID, with a simple htaccess protected folder. done.
Maybe you can find a place in the community where you might find like minded coders.

From a Mod perspective neither is currently achievable. Mods are server side only, and there is no rendering capability on the server.
