Bug when generating monuments... It rarely happens, but I have witnessed 2 times something similar - the previous bug, the hangar was inside in the earth.

Floating Sleeping Bag - I just make a house over many blocks, put a sleeping bag, jumped and I threw C4... Everything fell, less the character and the sleeping bag.

I was using the In-game Graphics adjuster and my client crashed when I tried to adjust the [B]Graphics[/B] quality under 2.
Edit: I also was running 1178 X 664 on fantastic full screened.

Are you able to reproduce this consistently?
Can't spawn in sleeping bag #9 or higher as it's not visible on the respawn page. Only the first 8 are. I finally have a base and put down a sleeping bag in there which happens to be my 9th one. Unfortunately I can't spawn there as only the first 8 show up on the list. There's a lot of unused space on that respawn page. So more sleeping bags can fit. Or a scroll bar to go through all of them would be good too.
Update: I found a workaround. switch to windowed mode and resize the window so it's taller than it is wider and the sleeping bag list will scale accordingly, allowing me to access my 9th sleeping bag.

I was messing around with it and I find that when I change the Graphics quality say from 1 to 5 or vice versa, I get a good minute of no frames then It comes back. The crash was probably just a fluke, and the error lays in my system being unable to handle the extreme graphics change.

I bought the game 2 weeks ago, and i liked it so so much, now im thinking about quitting because everyweek i have to start from 0 and all the effort i put in the game gets deleted...
Please guys, make something about it, i love Rust so much!!!!!!!!!!! but please stop the wipes or atleast make one every 1 or 2 months...

I'm agree with him totally ! (Maybe make an option to save it in the file config ? )
Also it is possible to make BluePrint in red or other color when we have already lean it, I say this because that save alot of time when we collect stuff.
You guys clearly don't understand why wipes happen. When updates occur, maps become incompatible with new versions and [I]have[/I] to be deleted or else the server crashes on startup, or other unpredictable things happen.
If you don't like this, come back when Rust's out of alpha and things are much more stable.

- I don't like how when gathering resources, the items no longer stack on the right corner of the screen, and you have no idea how much of the resource you have gathered. :/
- ALL of the animals that i have found are stuck and do not move/attack
- The durability of all items is horrible. Even the rock destroys after a couple of minutes.

Opening airdrop then selecting and opening again makes the container box hidden (cant select items). Need to move out of open radius and go back to be able to take items again.
using the infinite human meat glitch, i was able to swim under the map and start building a base. you can transfer loot using a box on the surface. i suppose it would work even on production branch if you had enough medkits/meat to prevent drowning but i haven't tried:

the bug, that i found in last update (main branch), is still present in dev branch - if you build the stone wall, then try to hit it with hatchet - wall will receive 1-2 damage per hit (that's normal). If you restart server, and try to hit the stone wall that was set before restart - it will receive about 17 damage per hit...
The new walls will receive 1-2 damage, until server restart...
and strange thing - that metal floor (8k hp) could be demolished with 1 hatchet, it's too weak as i think.

- There are graphic settings under audio settings in f2 menu
- shadow distance setting is missing in f2 menu
- wolf meat is cooked after 4 wood and burned after ~7 wood
- The building guide is stuck if you point your mouse towards heaven and move ([url]http://imgur.com/pmPX3rb,tDYUBoH[/url])

- The third person view and the first person view of holding a spear are different.
- The first Person attack animation of the spear is weird. You change instantly from two-hand attack to single hand.

Just one thing that would be amazing if you removed any negative mouse deacceleration when you look down the ironsights as it really limits me as a player since I use a low sensetivity. Or at the least the option to toggle it off. Just my two cents.

1- Rock durability off please, if the rock is broken there is a possibility of be useless pj.
2- Regeneration walls and foundations. Before: You need to be 2 or more in order to raider a house. Now,only one person can break your walls. Right now the live time of a house is... 2 hours or less.
3- More graphics options please. In Rust Legacy, I can change grass options and the game runs about 60 fps. In rust Alpha i can't run more than 10 or 15 fps... please fix it.
4- Please create peaceful servers and pvp servers. Many people enjoy cooperating and building/surviving the nature. Others prefer pvp and raid. Please take consideration of that.

I've been seeing another weird issue with chat. I though it was just me, but one other (wow, a whole 2 plays, I know) also reported chat failing--although only in passing so this could be something different. I've been noodling with it for an about half an hour and it's tough to pin down.
At first when I bring up chat there's no issue. I can get one message off normally. After that, the troubles begin.
Bringing up chat menu does not include the chat cursor and cannot enter text. Hitting Enter then brings up the Steam menu. More annoyingly, after this failure asserts, jumping brings up the Steam menu. Quitting Rust clears this condition, but not always. I can also clear the issue jumping setting off the Steam menu by entering the chat menu (still no cursor or ability to chat), hitting enter, then exiting it. Annoying, this partial fix is also intermittent.
Could just be me though.

Grass could be disabled in legacy because it was a performance killer. The grass is much better now, and cannot be disabled. It was never intended to be something you could disable, and it was temporarily an option for performance reasons. Now grass barely affects performance. Make sure you have PVT turned on.
As for servers, you can run your own and set the rules how you would like. The server files are free, hosting is up to you.

Found a couple of small issues.
I built a 1*1 hut and fully upgraded to stone. After that I was unable to build new foundations connected to the stone but I was able to build a floor.
When upgrading doors it ask to upgrade to wood but costs stone. I think a twig door is missing.
After using your blueprint your building wand remains equipt in third person and overlaps any other item you equipped to.
Dragging an item from your inventory to an item that's equipt on the toolbar will appear equipped in third person but will have no effect until re equipped.
That is all.

1. Rather than remove rock durability they should make rocks lootable off the ground.
2. The team decided to get rid of regeneration for a reason, unless they really think they need to go back I trust that they can balance a system without regeration.
3. Grass has no effect on FPS. This has been stated and proven quite a few times by Garry himself. There are already tons of graphics options between Fastest - Beautiful, and the F2 options for customization provide quite a bit. More may come later down the line but this is alpha so be patient.
4. There are plenty of modded servers with [Friendly] or [No PvP] in the title, or if you don't want a modded server join a lower population vanilla server because most of the time those people are friendly as well.
5. This is not the thread for suggestions in general as Garry said in the OP. You should probably read just a little bit more next time.

the -autoupdate command has not worked for the past two weeks in standard build.
I just want my server is shut down when there is a new update.
(I have a .exe updated first and then start the server, and when it detects an application that has been closed opens again).
Two weeks I was sleeping and server is automatically updated ago.
Please return the -autoupdate command to shut down the server after an upgrade.
