Dam, can't seem to use search function well... I guess people have brought up the issues with rivers already? Like the angles/widths being unrealistic... (like water going down a 20 degree slope) - The river pathing is MADNESS lol

Hi devs, since the last patch came out I'm having serious key input issues. When I entered a community server yesterday I couldn't use ''I'' for my inventory or ''T'' or Enter for the chat. When I changed the key input from ''I'' to ''U'' I couldn't access the inventory either. The weird thing is that I could use WASD for movement, ''E'' for using things, ''V'' for voice transmit, Ctrl for crouching and my mouse and Escape. Like the right half of my keyboard didn't work, while I could still type the letters in the search options of the main menu. Yesterday I restarted Rust and then it all worked again but today I had the same issue, I restarted Rust and it didn't work. I'm not that technological and if I just did something wrong then please tell me but also try to help me figure out what is going on here. Has anyone else had this problem? [Edit: "TAB" doesn't work either as a key input for using my inventory so it doesn't have anything to do with the right half of my keyboard :smug: ]

I played for a couple of minutes yesterday (well, just to see the new stuff... With the "pillars in the middle AND no half block" thing that broke base design I don't really feel like playing really) - and I had the same issue. Function keys wouldn't work (so no bug report either), no inventory, no chat. After logging in again it was working again. Note: I was on main, not dev

No, there is no way to download old versions of Rust. The servers you want to connect to are running outdated versions of the server and will update soon. In the future if you want to stay on a particular version you can set Steam not to update, and you will stay on that version instead of updating to the new version. But once you have updated to the newer version, you cannot go back.

There has been a problem with bootstrapping the game for quite a while. Since I'm sure you're aware allready, how close are you to a fix? Just to specify the issue: Rust loads the easyanticheat and crashes, without creating a errorlog. The problem first accurred when the servers weren't saving buildings correctly, and that got fixed. I woulden't know what bootstrapping the client and servers saving buildings have to do with each other. but something messed up something else. thanks in advance :3

Hi, So when ever I try to start Rust I get a message saying that my game has crashed due to folder '2015-12-12_182432' and that I should inform a developer, so that's what I'm doing, help is greatly appreciated.

i bought the game a few weeks ago and tried to enter the servers and when i do it loads all the files of the server then it ends and when it says that its about to launch the server the game crashes without any message and i havent played the game even once since i bought it please fix it

Your machine barely meets the minimum specifications, and your CPU is nine years old - you need an upgrade. You're running out of RAM, almost guaranteed, with only 4GB. Also, this is not what this thread is for, it's for the development branch specifically. If you are just clicking 'play' in Steam after installing Rust, you are not playing on the development branch.
