I have a VPS with 4GB, dual core, Windows Server 2008 and dedicated 10Mb symmetrical. This cost 100usd and previously had no problems. The airdrop doubles the network consumption, it is seen in the chart do not discuss
Errr, i'm having a problem that my server does not show in the Community list. Anyone knows why ? (I hosted locally to test before renting a VPS) I could join locally, and my friends could join too via console. I think you can't see your server because your Router fails to redirect your packets comming form inside the LAN to the external IP back to your LAN due to NAT. So your client can't pool the server informations form your server and doesn't list it in your list. However you should be able to connet to your server using the internal/LAN IP of your server via the console. To wipe your server it should be enoght to delete the "save" and "storage" folder located in your root-folder (server/IDENTITIY) Blueprints are saved in the "UserPersistence.db" file in that folder. To wipe them too, just delete this file. By the way, experimental server runns fine with the lastest version (1.7.48) of wine on linux. If needed i could make a tutorial for this

A few more things, when a Rust updates comes out, i have to update the server, usually it's done with a Wipe. And how do i update the server, and wipe the map but DONT wipe the blueprints ? I'm a bit new with rust servers :D

The blueprints are saved in the "UserPersistence.db" file. Just don't delete this file at the wipe and the Blueprints should be ok. However, depending on the update you could be forced to wipe the blueprints too, depending on the changes they made. Most updates shouldn't require this but it is possible

always after joining a server is there an error message [Disconnected : EAC : Unconnected]
i think that means that EAC is not working properly on your computer. Try to verify the gamefiles on steam and restart your pc. It you still get the error, try to reinstall EAC. the Installer is located in the "EasyAntiCheat" folder inside of your rust folder (Steam -> SteamApps -> common -> rust -> EasyAntiCheat)

I have set up a rust server and Im having an issue with getting the port set up. Used a guide from rustafied.com ([url]http://www.rustafied.com/how-to-host-your-own-rust-server/[/url]) The Server runs fine, even says it's connecting to steam. But I can not connect to it. Its like the Port is blocked by a firewall, so I checked my routers and windows firewall everything is forward or open like it should be. The system is running Server 2012R2 12GB core 2 duo 3.0 Hyper-V (1 xp system and windows 10) Murmur (Mumble server) IIS WDS Now if I move mumble to the rust port (28015) it starts right up, move rust to mumble's port (64738) it acts like its blocked or not there. Move back; rust on 28015, mumble on 64738 same thing. The only thing that I can think of is if the Hyper-V virtual switch is causing some kind of issue. So is there a way to see what card/adapter/IP rust is binding to? Any help or suggestions at this point is greatly appreciated.
I'm having a problem. I'm testing a local server and i can use inv.giveall "wood" "100" but if i use inventory.give "me" "wood" "100" it does not work, it stays blank. Anyone knows why ? EDIT: I can give myself with inventory.give wood 100 for example when im connected to the server and when im an admin, but i cant do it through the console.

Does anyone know if the rust server is multithreaded, and if multiple cores are preferred over single thread performance when choosing hardware? Is there any documentation about the server?
