I have installed oxide 2 exactly following the tutorial, except my server was already online. Having visual studio 2015 installed also. Oxide isnt recognized and the server just runs as vanilla. Has this been answered somewhere already?

You should probably ask on the oxide forums. Also, installing the files when the server is already running isn't going to work very well in any case because it won't be able to access files that are already open and in use by the server.

Ok i got that, thats why i say " i restart everyday" - i wasn't very clear about this then. I do know i have to stop the server while installing, yes :)
But since i cant find anything about this not working, and i have installed same way, i want to ask here if oxide 2 is still compatible after certain updates of the rust core, or something has been changed. I have copied files over in the correct folder, but the oxide core is not loading atall.
(i am used to run minecraft server).
Again, you should go to the Oxide forums; the devs do not officially support modding at this point, so if the server works in vanilla but isn't working when you try and install Oxide, that's the Oxide modding community's problem, not the Rust devs'.

My server was updated today and from that moment not to find in Server list, not even if i key in my server name.
now.. when i connect with client.connect its no problem.
I did add a moderator with an old VAC ban .. can this be the cause of blocking in the server list?

Make sure that your firewall accepts your inbound/outbound connection on the serverport :)
You can also add the app on the windows firewall..

So i've been messing around with seed sizes, and when i set server.worldsize to 6250 or greater (i'm aiming for 8000), trees start getting super funky. A lot of trees start looking low-rez-ish. And if I set (under F2, Graphics) Graphics Quality to anything above 2, the low-rez trees visibly disappear, but still stop my movement and still produce wood when I strike them.

Hi, I'm writing actually because I have a very "existencial" question.
Are you guys working on an issue that allow us to keep our sever's saves?
I mean, every month the sever is clean up and we lose everything, every buildings that took hour and hour to construct, all our resources.
It's quite annoying and tiring to have to reconstruct all the things you had...
I understand that it's an alpha and the game is more for pvp but if I can suggest you a thing for the future enhacement, I really think that you should allow us to keep our server without any wipe every month.

This looks like an exception the server try to send data to client but the socket is closed during the process

Something wrong with server.description, when there is used non english letters. i think it was fine before devblog 75, but i could be wrong about this...
any random characters could just disappear, or could be changed with "?" char, etc... i don't know how to describe this more accurately, it's just strange, and nott looks like utf8 problem, something else in here :)
