No player is more on Rust-Legacy, as there is no button for more on Steam.
What should the players are angry and wonder for what I have a Rust Legacy
rented. I had a player who is-but it came with settings and tricks again he said you can not move and carry out any action and after that he did not come into
Rust-experimental. I do not understand that this button simply disappears through Steam.
What can I do ????

Now i gave him a fresh copy of my gamefiles, still don't work. ( its a fresh downloaded app_update 258550)

Maybe there is a difference in dotnetfx (4.5.2 ) or visualc++ (x86 & x64), i updated those a couple of weeks ago.

Have a couple of problems after update. The smoke doesn't dissipate? and dead bodies are all over the server. Any ideas?

Tried to update everything and launch with those files. But still don't works :'(
For those who can't start server:
I found that this problem appears when server files (save, cfg, etc..) not in rustdedicated directory (folder where RustDedicated.exe)
Try to move files into this folder, so path will be looked like "[B]server_files_folder[/B]/server/[B]server_identity[/B]"
where [B]server_files_folder[/B] is folder where [I]RustDedicated.exe[/I]
and [B]server_identity folder[/B] must be named as your current identity
then, change your startup batch file - add "cd server_files_folder" and remove path before RustDedicated.exe
Example of .bat file:

Hi guys, I'm a real newbie in computer but I've made a server on rust experimental.
The problem is that every new update you make, I have a wrong connection protocol so I can't connect to my server. Apparently it's because I didn't do the update on steamCMD but if I update, I can't use my old saves.... Is that normal? Is there any way to keep our saves and play with the last patch?

Anyone notice rocks are scares and not re-spawning in areas where they have been cleared?
we restarted and reloaded our server 2 days ago and have 10 active players (25 unique players) and the majority are find rocks are not spawning in the areas they cleared. they are going far and wide.
I (Admin mode) flew around and I am not seeing pockets of rocks anywhere like a big mass of them.
any ideas?
Hello? really we have a serious ROCK issue. I am seeing it on several servers since the last update.
they are not in the ocean and I checked the entire map as admin and I don't see them spawning in crazy places.
I'm having the same issue. Once the server is restarted they return but it's a pain having to kick 90 players to fix it. I'm sure there was a command to repawn the nods? Anyone know what it was.

I don't know how you develop but this is a beautiful regression, that many people already reported to you not only in this thread. You have completely broken the linux support under wine.

Why don't you just rent a VPS?
i'm sure there will be a good host for you somewhere?
Look for a Windows VPS ( i'm having a Windows Server 2012 R2 VPS with 8gb RAM)

They're the same as the branch names in the Betas tab for the client in Steam.
[B]-beta legacy[/B] is the legacy dedicated server, and [B]-beta development[/B] is the bleeding-edge build that mirrors changes on [URL="https://twitter.com/RustUpdates"]@RustUpdates[/URL] as soon as the builds can be compiled and uploaded to Steam -- which can be as many as 20+ times a day. [B]-beta development-debug[/B] is an alternate development branch which the devs maintain, and on occasion it contains changes and fixes before the development and 'default' branches get them.
I don't see experimental in the list of betas to opt into, is it called stable?

"Experimental" is the old name for what is now simply "Rust". If you want to download the stable dedicated server, leave off the [B]-beta experimental[/B] switch entirely, it's the default branch. In Steam, it's what you get when you're on the stable branch, which is the default.
Always the same problem in spite of the putting has in the daytime, idea ?
Game crashes ever time by loading Server have never play it and it cost me 20 Euro pls fix this problem !
