Second time im commenting about the server error "Unable to find shaders used for the terrain engine. Please include Nature/Terrain/Diffuse shader in Graphics settings." and no support given.
Just set up a server and busy doing tweaks.
However after a short period of time the server just halts, the FPS and time won't update anymore
And can't connect to the server anymore (IN MY RUST CLIENT), it keeps connecting but won't do anything.

When i press enter in the server CMD it works again but having to do this every now and then..

How can i write multiple lines in an rcon say command?
I tried everything, from LINE1\nLINE2, <br>. \\n, <br/>,<br></br>... Nothing works... but i know it should work from other server, which write theire complete rule set in a single server message via Rusty.
So... has anyone an idea how i can draw multiple lines in a single say command message?
I would want to use the server.cfg or serverauto.cfg file but the way i found like -cfg "server\pathtothefile\server.cfg" switch at launchline seem not got any effect

Assuming you're trying to host the server on you own hardware (not a hosting company), have you forwarded ports 28015 & 28016 on your router to the IP of the server? 28015 is the default port for the server-client communication while that port +1 (28016) is the default query port for the in-game server list.
I rent from Multiplay, but weird how I try anything above 6500, because I would like 8k map size, the server won't stay up and just keeps crashing and not stay live at all. Anyone know of this?

My server don't show up on server's list (Legacy)
With previous updates network consumption rising doubled my server . I have 10Mbit upload, but could have 100 players now with 75 players rise is saturated and the server is locked.
I suspect that may be the new entities that appear on the floor (stone, sulfur ore , metal ores and wood)
Is there any way to disable these items ?

I built a Windows 2012 R2 Server on which I'm running a RUST Experimental Oxide dedicated server named "KYA Hapis Island PvP". I have everything setup, and it works just fine. I can even see the server in the RUST server list; however, I cannot connect to it through the RUST server list. I can connect to it locally using my local 192.168.1.xxx IP address and client.connect. I've opened ports 28015 and 28016 in my router and checked the Windows Server firewall, but still can't connect via RUST server list. I even tried turning off the Windows Server firewall temporarily to see if I could connect, and I still cannot connect.
I am also using a Motorola SB6120 cable modem that doesn't have any options for opening ports through it. Could it be that I need a modem that will also allow me to open the same ports as the router?
Any ideas out there? Need more info from me? Please let me know! Thanks in advance for your help.

If you are attempting to connect to your own server through your public address, that may be being blocked by your modem/router. My previous modem actually blocked me from contacting myself through my public IP, even though it would work for anyone elsewhere on the net.
Get someone [I]else[/I] to try connecting to your server. If it works, there you go.
Can I ask if anyone is having memory leaks? Server is fully updated, just wiped and using 25% of 8 gig to start with. Then the memory starts to to go up and doesn't stop. 7 hours later the server is now at 70%
If you know of any reasons for this please enlighten me as I've already wiped my server thinking this would solve the problem.

About once an hour all players disconnect from my Exp. server with Timeout error, the server machine is high end, i run other servers there without an itch, ive tried setting different server ports, no firewall, but still happens, is there like a client timeout setting i can adjust or any other toughts? my ping is constant 19ms when it happens. Everything is up to date.

How do you propose to stop DDOS attacks? The problem with a DDOS is that the only effective way to stop it is to give them what they want and take the server offline. Especially game servers as opposed to webservers; it's a lot harder to filter out malicious traffic to a game server.
