At the time, I remember them being around 11-12 people in the group with 1 one person being on. (Yes I understand it's one person,however,at the time

As I mentioned earlier, take away what they use against you and what do they have left. Now...Tell me by that SS that a solo player can't do what the OP was discussing. That alone defeats any argument.

Im sorry but this explains everything... You just cant compare normal server with modded one. If you play on server where you have for example 10x rate... you just spent 10x less time to harvest resources... its 10x easier and you can go home with teleport... I cant... i have to go with axe and icepick and harvest slowly... and i need a lot of rocks and trees to build a solid house... And if you have a lot of people ( in clan ) you can collect resources / build a house and search the area in one time...

If you really think its easy to dominate as solo player vs clan... then go to London 1 after next wipe and show me... show me that you will survive longer than 2 weeks ( my maximum ) in a house and dominate nearby area. Then we can talk....

Because yea.... you can build a small house in middle of nowhere... then fast collect a lot of sulfur... then quickly make a lot of c4 and destroy everything you want in few hours... just because you have 10x faster server than I have... And thats the reason i dont play on modded servers... its 0 survival experience.

I think that's why I've stepped away from Rust lately.

I don't buy games to "work." I buy games to "play," because I work all day, every day. And when I'm done working, I don't want MORE WORK. I want play.

The relentless grind of Rust has become too much "work" and not enough "play". I hope they find a way to fix this for other players who might be in the early stages of feeling the same way.
