I was wondering if the system requirements would ever be lowered? i currently play on my hp pavilion dv6 and get a solid 15 fps :/ ( of course isnt very good ) but its bareable, and i was wondering if the game will be optimized in such a way that i could maybe get up to 30, im clinging on with all my hope because i know its alpha. I want more people to be able to play this amazing game and have a more enjoyable experience! thankies ^-^
Mind posting your specs?
sure thing. processor. Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2630QM CPU @ 2.00GHz 2.00GHz (quad core) 8GB ram (only important aspects for gaming i imagine)

You're forgetting your video card which is equally as important as a powerful CPU. edit: nvm, its a laptop with most likely a crappy onboard shared GPU. Buy yourself a new computer, one preferably for gaming. :V
Oh sorry XD my graphics card is a radeon(TM) HD 6670M
Oh sorry XD my graphics card is a radeon(TM) HD 6670M
with those specs, you should be fine... Are you sure your laptop isn't defaulting to using integrated graphics? I know laptops with Nvidia GPUs have that issue, but I am not sure about AMD...
I have no idea tbh, im not sure how to change it to not use the integrated graphics
Well, the limiting factor here is definitely your graphic chip. It's always an issue with laptops as gaming laptops are seriously more expensive than desktops and its harder to switch parts too. HD 6670M should normally run Skyrim on middle settings or BF3 on lower settings, no real good comparison for Rust I'm afraid, but pretty sure a non-graphic optimized alpha is going to be bad for that graphic chip. It might get easier once they add more options to tweak graphics. For now I'd recommend checking if you use the correct drivers and all and turn down everything that you can turn down, like the grass stuff etc.
