thats totaly true!! this week i post in steam forum, you have no idea of how many congratulations VAC receive!
the chance of this being a false positive is almost zero ergo you cheated you dirty cheater
Easy there, cowboy, simply restating what Valve has already said. Steam support will not lift a ban, there is no VAC appeal process. There's always techinicalities but those are the clearly stated facts.
They have overturned bans in the past, and that was for a False positive (keep in mind, false positives affect large amount of users) bans being sent to 12,000 people over 2 weeks on MW2, yes they can turn over bans, but they say they won't because when you are banned righteously, they will not lift a simple ban from record. Also another false ban evidently, in picture form. So again, yes they will overturn wrongful bans.

Another thing to add , again from the steam support page itself, is that they will never let you know what specifically you were banned for, i.e. what program/etc. triggered the ban. If only OP could Google or navigate Steam for himself.
well i have my rights to know the real reason i got banned... if they dont tell i go to the law
well i have my rights to know the real reason i got banned... if they dont tell i go to the law
You don't need to, you can just chargeback like a man does. It's simple, contact your bank, and say that the game was a fraud, it's really easy and takes no time!
well i have my rights to know the real reason i got banned... if they dont tell i go to the law
hahahahaha i'm sorry i'm pretty sure brazilian police are too busy dealing with cartels and they shouldn't need to tell you why you were banned, because you were a hacker that used a hack
well i have my rights to know the real reason i got banned... if they dont tell i go to the law
Are you kidding?
well i have my rights to know the real reason i got banned... if they dont tell i go to the law
No you don't have your rights. Valve can ban you if they even think you're cheating. It's in the terms of service you agreed to when you signed up. The reason you got banned is because you're a dipshit kid who can't admit that he cheated. Get over yourself.
well i have my rights to know the real reason i got banned... if they dont tell i go to the law

The details of the ban will not be provided Steam Support will not disclose the cheats that were detected running on your system or the date and time the infraction took place. Any requests for this information will be ignored. VAC may not ban you immediately - the cheating violation may have occurred days or even weeks before the ban is apparent on your account.
good luck with that
well i have my rights to know the real reason i got banned... if they dont tell i go to the law
Soo........ You don't have enough money to buy the game again on a fresh Steam account, yet you apparently are going to hire a Lawyer to contest your ban? Or do you mean you are gonna call the local police over this?
Soo........ You don't have enough money to buy the game again on a fresh Steam account, yet you apparently are going to hire a Lawyer to contest your ban? My water hath been spat, let the popcorn chewing commence!
VAC has been (apparently) very sensitive regarding rust. There are reports that VAC has banned for: Overlays, external applications that alter your gamma, using cheats for other games while rust is up (including single-player games), and getting false kicks for speedhacks. NONE of these have been confirmed. Before people jump on my ass about it, I just want to throw that out there. These are things that people have said on Reddit, the Facepunch forums, and the Steam forums. It could very well be a lot of real hackers making up excuses for their VAC bans. The point isn't that VAC is fallible (it has been in the past, though, and Valve has usually taken action to correct the situation), but rather that, when in doubt, do not use anything that could potentially result in a ban. Do not cheat in other games while Rust, or even steam, is open. This includes single-player games. Do not use any kind of overlay. Do not use an external program to change your gamma. You can do this through the control panel without using something like Quick Gamma. For maximum safety, do not even touch your gamma.
"Valve may terminate your Account or a particular Subscription for any conduct or activity that Valve believes is illegal, constitutes a Cheat, or otherwise negatively affects the enjoyment of Steam by other Subscribers. You acknowledge that Valve is not required to provide you notice before terminating your Subscriptions(s) and/or Account, but it may choose to do so." direct from the steam subscriber agreement http://store.steampowered.com/subscriber_agreement/ next time dont cheat!
I thought he had understood everything, until I figured "Generic angry Brazilian" gibe vac unban pls Sorry for being so sterotypical though.
Valve Anti Cheat almost never gets a false positive in my experience, with the exception of what happened with MW2. Don't use a stupid excuse, we know you cheated.
dude if i cheated, i wasn't here trying to get a solution wich steam have in their logs that i was cheating... but as i'm not using of course i want my rights!
Unfortunately those rights don't exist on the web.
Valve Anti Cheat almost never gets a false positive in my experience, with the exception of what happened with MW2. Don't use a stupid excuse, we know you cheated.
There have been 6 recorded instances of false detections (VAC1 faulty memory ban, VAC detecting Cedega as a hack, VAC1 server side glitch, MW2 bans, COD: Black Ops, TF2), and 4 of plugins being falsely detected (HLamp, X-Spectate, HL1 mods such as paranoia, and sXE). All things considered, this is a VERY low false-positive detection rate when compared with PunkBuster, FairFight, or Warden.
dude if i cheated, i wasn't here trying to get a solution wich steam have in their logs that i was cheating... but as i'm not using of course i want my rights!
You got banned? 99% chance you cheated. No use in lying; you HAVE NO RIGHTS.
dude if i cheated, i wasn't here trying to get a solution wich steam have in their logs that i was cheating... but as i'm not using of course i want my rights!
You were banned because you have cheated and broke one of the Valve Agreements. Now your here complaining about it. What are you going to gain over this except hatred from others? Talk to valve about it not us, we don't want to hear you say that Valve gave a "false positive". But if you did get falsely VAC banned than you can contact Valve.
What do you think the Rust devs can do for you though, OP? Ultimately VAC bans are out of their arena, this is handled on Valve's end, not theirs.
Said it before, will say it again: Its a known fact the author of some "undetectable" hack instructed users to plead their case on Facepunch on the off chance they somehow got caught. The shear number of people who have tried to do so lately is extremely alarming as they would rather listen to the person who ripped them off(the author of the "undetectable" hack who sent them here knowing what would happen) rather than the community who is constantly making light of the fact that FACEPUNCH CANNOT OVERTURN A VAC BAN, THEY DO NOT HAVE SUCH AUTHORITY.
Ok OP my uncle works for Steam and I just checked into this for you. I'll have an answer for you in a few days.

it isnt even me dude wtf!!
it isnt even me dude wtf!!
Love how you posted that wonderful screenshot of your response from steam support Tell me lies, tell me sweet little lies...
well i have my rights to know the real reason i got banned... if they dont tell i go to the law
Not to be really a jerk, just pardon me but Brazil is one of the biggest places on the world with a massive amount of Hackers. The CS:Global Offensive is a mess with alot of Brazilian Players hacking all over the place. Now, let's go to the serious deal. Valve Corporations has a TOS. This TOS also affects to the law of Privacy where they can't and won't reveal what cause the problem. Imagine this situation: You develope a Hack, you use it and you get VAC banned, then you go to the support and ask for what was the problem the problem that caused you to get VAC Banned... You fix the problem and then you try again with other account. It would be unfair for players that play in a legit way the games.
he's calling his local brazilian police valve better be afraid
BOPE on the SCENE!! Hahahha
Haha, I love reading these posts. This may sober a few wannabe hackers.
