Just to add some tech info for future reference:-
500 type errors (like 501,502,503 etc) means that the server you are connecting with has a problem (and not your browser)

You dont get banned for glitchs either, You get banned for programs reading your ram to find out the positions of players to either ESP or find the pixel to aim at the head of somebody, or giving you a permanent torch/flare. which is the light hack. Glitchs and Gammasutra do nothing to mess with the rust files.

You don't get VAC banned for glitches(maybe just on one server if the admin chooses so) . The only way you are going to get VAC banned is by cheating . You used lighthack , maybe this time u will be legit ;) have fun

Nice try Chico,you just confessed that you used a software to change your game files which of course will be resulted as VAC ban.
Funny thing is,you have a computer to run Rust and you probably have decent GPU(graphics card) as far as i know Intel,AMD and Nvidia have their own control panels and you can simply change the gamma directly from there.
Another funny thing is,you should stay away from glitches instead of trying to using them with 3rd part programs.

Actually you brought up your ban, then tried to tapdance your way around it about how you were just trying to fix your gamma. Now you say you were just abusing a wall removal exploit. At least come up with an original excuse and stick with it. If you did indeed make a payment to Steam but received no game as you claim then why would you think Facepunch would be able to help or refund you? You bought the game from Steam, as you say. That's like if I went to a drive-thru, paid for a cheeseburger, got home and realized they didn't put in the bag and then went to the ranch to complain about not getting my burger.

He was already told since page 1 that only Steam support can help him with purchase issues. There's no witch haunt for hackers here either. He admitted himself that he was VAC banned.

Um...yep. So he says he was using a multihack but then says he wasn't and was only using an external monitor application and then he says he was modifying game files to remove the walls...so he could put a sleeping bag down.
Wasn't this posted a week ago? Surely Steam would have responded by now if he had purchased the game from Steam. The couple times I had payment issues in the past with Steam I received responses and resolution quite promptly. Now, if he bought a Rust key from a third party that's an entirely different matter and nothing Steam can do to help you there.
We could now class jonny as a indifferent 24/7 douche bag. His thoughts on others is no helping this forum, and in my opinion, hes driving people away :p

This thread really should be closed. I read the entire thread and he clearly admitted to cheating and is okay with getting banned. The thread wasn't even about getting banned and his problem was solved by Valve.
