Now i cant join all server every time failed to conect
it still doesn't make any sense to nerf guns/ammo/armour to please the bambi's because that just makes the gap between geared and naked even greater = more whining. I liked it how it was, Devs always trying to make the awesome game that they envision, A hardcore survival game. Then all the bambi's cry and break the game and then find the next new game to break with they're crying. Devs need to factor in that for every 1 player that says "no its good that way it is" there is 50 others that are too busy playing to be bothered posting (and why would they). Maybe they should make a vote window open upon exit/start of game. And vote to keep/change stuff. even then you'd only change if the vote for change was 70% or greater. /endrant thanks

The game's performance is all over the spectrum.[/QUOTE] Funny that I play with 13 different people (not all at the sametime) and none of us have any issues running Rust; with the oldest computer in the group being a premade Best Buy computer that is just about 5 years old and the newest being a week old custom made BEAST. So that a pretty wide variety of computers, people, internet connection, etc and none of us have problems. Yeah I know the game isn't fully optimized properly, but if you are running at 10 FPS it's more then likely something on your side and not the games side. Are you playing at max settings? Are you playing with grass on?

I think the problem is that there are huge areas of land with zero resource nodes. Now while I don't think everyone should be able to just walk two feet to have access to everything I also think it's a bad idea to design the map so 100 people need to go to a limited area of the map. Everytime me and my buddies go node gathering we have to fight through what seems like half the population of the server. With the nerf on ammo requirements it's going to quickly get to the point where you break even on resources gained vs lost fighting. What I'd like to see in an update would be an expansion to the node map so instead of a battle royal each day for a few nodes we can try to limit them to skirmishes between 1-3 groups of people instead of 7+. I really like the increase of headshot damage. Possible 1hit kill with the new bolt action?

I don't mind having to fight over resources.. fighting for survival is the entire reason I play this game.
We're not really nerfing anything, we're just making the uber items harder to get, and ammo harder to make. If you play the game for more than an couple hours when is the last time you thought to yourself " Man, I'm really low on ammo! " P.s. the auto reload was stupid so I changed it to play a dry fire sound

Helk, Any news on added combo locks/permissions to doors so we don't need 3 entrances to our base? Not a pressing update, but would be nice. ;)

Or build a new home, or make guns and kill them yourself. There are so many options that don't involve getting on the forum to complain about a game that isn't even close to finished.
This is exciting, I hope it goes live soon or well at least when Steam gets their act together vis a vis the connection issue. I very much approve about the ammo change, maybe people won't be quite so trigger-happy if ammo is slightly more dear.

Nice, I want to the bolt action rifle badly, it will help compensate for me not being able to engage close quarters since I have like 27-30 fps in gun fights.
LOL I went out and bought a new mouse because my scroll wheel broken, and sure enough, 2 days later they fix that with a right mouse click

Hi Helk Any changes for the Durability of the Large wood spikes ? Currently I can play a night after work then log on the following and it is down to 1/3rd durability. Not to mention it is easier to hatchet down taking little damage . At 200 wood + upkeep ,I am probably better off building a structured wall for not much more. I was of the understanding that spikes placed on wood/metal walls would change the nature and help stop people building on the side of your structures ..This hasn't been the case at all ,and while the spikes are handy for some things,would like them to be improved for this patch. Options to fix would be for a bleed and slight increase in damage to happen on hit with hatchet/pickaxe .Also for the spikes to start degrading after placement by say 3 days ,then a gradual % each day so repairs aren't needed twice a day. I don't want them invincible,but this needs to be looked at ,as base design plays a large part in the game and currently the building meta is built around stopping people bypassing your doors through pillars on foundations outside or using stairs to jump from a foundation away/ large wood storage box and barricade to jump up.. Ways to improve base building needs to be looked at in the future patch because as it stands,nothing has really changed in months regarding building and this is what keeps people playing
