I jumped back on stream about a minute later to prove it because everyone was claiming otherwise. So yeah... I lost all of my stuff.

Second, please note that the PlayRustWiki has independent streamers (in this case ShadowBlade) who stream under the PlayRustWiki Channel (you can see the current streamer always at the bottom). In general, people like his gameplay and I personally think that those streams are pretty informative. However, I totally agree that combat logging is not OK. We've talked to him immediately after the stream. This is definitively a no-no. Other than that, first he failed at activating that key, but then he figured out.
